Don’t waste your money on this! I ordered 2 as Christmas gifts and instead of sending 2 packages with 5 packs of ramen in each, I was only sent 2 individual packages. This was BEFORE the sale, so I spent $40 on 2 packages! Found out later that you can get the exact same brand at Walmart for under $7. Save your money, go to Walmart and get the package that actually has the 5 in it.Also, emailed Showcase and was given a list of hoops to jump through to even consider a refund or replacement.

I ordered 2 of the 5pack ramen noodles and when I received my order I only received 2 individual packages. I had ordered these as Christmas gifts for spicy food lovers. When I emailed the company back they wanted a picture of the box, the shipping tag and I can’t remember what else. This was 2 days later, 2 days after I had already thrown away the packaging. Most expensive packages of ramen noodles ever. Save your money, I found out later you can buy the same thing, BUT ACTUALLY SOLD IN THE 5 PACK at Walmart for under $7.

A quick google search reveals that these are around 8,800 scovilles. For reference a jalapeno can be between 2,500 and 8,000 scoville but this is much much hotter than any jalapeno ive ever had. The hottest thing ive ever tried is daves ultimate insanity which is 250,000 scovilles and that left me in pain. These noodles are pretty painful but nothing compared to daves ultimate insanity. if you soak your tongue in cold water the pain goes away temporarily. The burn also lasts for about 15 minutes once youre done eating. The flavor is good but the spice overpowers it very strongly. Would not recommend for people sensitive to spice but if you can handle Tabasco sauce youll most likely be fine.

If you thought the regular version of these weren’t spicy, then these will certainly put you in your place. With these ones, it’s definitely more spice than flavour, which is why I’m only rating it a 3/5. These had potential to be great. The spice on this version is more of a slow burn, and has a slight chemical taste to it (we’re talking artificial capsaicin extract) which really lets these noodles down. Would I recommend them as a challenge? Yes. Would I recommend them for their flavour? No.
I love these Ramen! They are my all-time favorite Ramen! They taste great, you can adjust the spice level yourself and they are fast cooked. I like to eat them with rice cakes and a more cheesy sauce. I make the sauce bei putting milk in a pot and boiling it, I then put it in the spice mixes (careful with the red sauce, coz it's the hot sauce) then I like to boil my rice cakes in it, after that add in the cheese and lastly the ramen. It's basically the viral ramen trend on TikTok x)
These noodles are actually very good and soo tasty but the 2X def means 2 times as spicy!!! This is wayyyy too spicy but if you go easy on the packet of sauce, it won’t be as spicy and everything will be leveled out. I have noticed that adding milk also does help a lot!! It makes it very creamy and almost pasta like! I’d also recommend adding some cheese, sesame seeds and parsley on top!
After seeing many "Korean Fire Noodle" challenges online, I have to admit that I was skeptical. Were the (admittedly pasty and Anglo-Saxon) people in the videos acting for the camera? How could a commercially available food product push grown men into such screeching palsies? Now I know why. I made my first batch of these only moments after they arrived at my door. After preparing these as directed by the friendly pictograms on the back label (though I should have been warned away by the cartoon chicken holding what appeared to be some sort of warning sign), I sat down at my table to test my mettle against the sad and pathetic people in the videos. I should also note that my Korean wife was sitting next to me with a slightly amused expression (another warning ignored).
Holy smokes these noodles are soooo frikken spicy!!! But the texture of the noodles are fantastic!! They’re perfectly chewy. Normally I’d only use half the package of spicy sauce cause I made the mistake once of adding the whole pack and my mouth was on fire but it tasted so good I couldn’t stop lol
These are delicious! They taste exactly like the black packet Samyang spicy chicken noodles only difference is obviously these are much spicier. I put in the whole sauce packet and it’ll fool you as you’re eating it you think, it’s not too bad but oh boy! When you’ve finished is when the heat on your tongue continuously turns up until it’s literal pain. I sat with a mouth full of milk for a good few mins and said never again! But let’s be honest, the flavour is worth it so of course I’d eat them again lol.I’d recommend not adding all the sauce and unless you’re doing this for a challenge then just buy the black packet, same taste less heat.
But they are so hot. I love spicy food but for some reason the spice didn't come in for me until 5 minutes after I had already eaten 5 forks full. They are so good that I couldn't stop eating them so it was torture and delight at the same time. Two hours after finishing them I started having hot flashes, no I'm not menopausal or even close to it but these are CRAZY. Get them, you won't be disappointed.
