The best USB drive i ever bought. Im even thinking of getting another soon. Very happy with my purchase and the customer service I received at the store. micro center is my favorite electronic store to go to and I always recommend all my family and friends to go and buy from there. Never had a bad experience at the store. Always left as a happy customer every time i made a purchase there.

150 MB/sec? All it did for me, backing up 10.5 GB of small folders/files, was 1 MB/sec. And the warranty - they wouldn't send replacements unless I mailed them the bad drives first, which means I would lose my all-important backups.

I purchased this flash drive not having 100% confidence that it would live up to its spec, but I was pleasantly surprised. Although the body on the drive is flimsy in my opinion, the performance is excellent. I have tested a few flash drives using CrystalDiskMark and this showed the write performance of the SanDisk Extreme Go outperformed its younger brothers (SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive) write speed by more than 4x. The Ultra Dual writing at 35mbs and the Extreme Go writing at 144mbs. This was with the drives plugged directly into a USB 3.0 socket on the computer. If you plug it in through a hub, this will likely be considerably lower. If I could give half a star, I would have given 4.5 out 5.0, purely because of the flimsy casing, although the USB connector mechanism is very robust. This is obviously my opinion, but flimsy plastic aside, I personally would still recommend the SanDisk Extreme Go, merely for its performance.

Mechanical design OK. Fast read speed. But Sandisk forgot to tell that the write speed - up to 150MB/s - only can be achieved on platforms supporting UASP.It's an expensive flash drive, when providing USB2.0 write speeds only.Go for Lexar P30's instead.
Transferred at 140mb/s using a 3.0 port, from an SSD laptop. Decent value for the speed you get. If you are looking for a compact flash, you will need to keep looking. This flash is a bit bigger than the standard size.
Use it for the 'TimeShift' function on Smart HDTV. Works really well. The occasional jittery movement I experienced with a Corsair USB3.0 memory stick has disappeared. Maybe that's due to some minor incompatibility between the TV and the Corsair stick or perhaps it's a speed issue as the ScanDisk specification states faster read & write speeds. Too early to judge reliability.
Using this as an external (expanding) drive for the Nvidia Shield TV. Works extremely well even if it looks like the Shield is continuously accessing it. Stable for a few months now. Light might be annoying if the Shield was visible in front of TV or similar.
Although it's fast, it's not as fast as SanDisk advertises. Write speed is about 90-110MB/s, and read speed 150-190MB/s. Still, you can't find anything faster in this price group. Reliability and build quality is good. I especially like the sliding mechanism of the connector, it seems very robust.
This is by far the fastest at Sequential Writes and reads and has excellent build quality. Can run a live OS from it or move huge Gigabytes of data in seconds or couple minutes. No long waits no BS.This is a sturdy ultra fast USB 3.1 level chips etc that is what USB 3+ should be. Perfect for backups and projects. Pro level video production speeds etc.
This is ridiculously slow, it hot up very quick and stop even when copying small files. DO NOT BUY, this is even worse that my Ultra 3.0 drive bought several years ago!
