This brand has been my go to for a long time. Always pleased with the performance. As to storage amount, I knowcit can be hard to judge, but most of us really don't need 1 or 2 TB, plus, you may already have adequate cloud storage, so no need to break the bank. With several different sizes, SanDisk will have what you need. Highly recommend.

Great amount of storage, and fair performance, for its price.I have a Surface Pro with only 256GB of storage, and I needed extra storage for my media library (iTunes). Bought for my Nintnendo Switch and will not work. Am further testing when have the time to ensure it is authentic. It appears authentic however it wont download anything no matter how much i format it. Corrupt data over and over. Been trouble shooting all day. Meanwhile my cheap Walmart SD card of smaller capacity still works fine. Never would have this issue from a Sandisk so need to run a scan on the card and update back. Will contact Seller and notify them

Don't waste your money on this garbage
6 May 2022

Don't even bother getting this. I've read reviews as I was looking to expand memory on my switch and this card was inclused in many websites. I thought I'd give it a go but it was a major mistake. immediately it gave me issues with formatting the card. It took 10 tries to successfully do it but I had to reformat multiple times as for some reason my data kept getting corrupted despite me taking all the proper steps. This isn't even worth it. I'd rather pay the overpriced SD cards with the nintendo logo smacked on it than this piece of crap.

Don't work on windows 11
5 December 2022

Hello, how are you?I recently bought one of these memory cards and it works smoothly in the microSD slot on my computer from Asus and on Windows 10.But when it was updated to Windows 11, it no longer works as it used to. It used to reach a speed of 90 megabytes, but now it appears on the device, but it literally does not work when I copy files from it or to it.For your information, I have an old memory card that works well without any glitches, and also all Windows drivers are installedI hope you find a solution to this problemThank youQudsi

SanDisk for reliability
21 October 2022

I purchased this for a neighbour who needed more space on her phone yet was unsure which storage cards would work with her mobile. Once I found the manual online and discovered a 16Gb is the maximum side this phone could recognise, I suggested that's what we should go for. I have always used Picstop for quality products and SanDisk as they have a 5 years warranty whilst being very reliable product.

Using it straight out of the box I put multiple music files and pictures in it which didn't show up when I looked into the directories I put them in making me think I didn't transfer them. The transfer speed was surprisingly slow aswell with how this card was supposed to be 20mbps faster than my previous card. Taking the card out and putting it back in resulted in about 2 thousand files in the LOST.DIR folder leaving me trying to find ways to recover what I had guessed to be my lost files. I then tried to move my lost data onto my computer to recover which worked when moving them from the sd card, but as I tried to put more music files on to the sd card it would keep saying the device may have been disconnected although what I had put on there would show up. I also tried to put OS backups on to it with files larger than 4gb and it wouldn't let me leading me to believe it just needed to be formatted, and so I tried to in my phone with an Oreo OS but it kept failing. But I tried it again in another phone with a Nougat OS and it worked. I then put music files on to it, again, after being formatted which worked for about an hour until I noticed my music player would stop playing music from the sd card and error notifications would start to show up, so attempted to look in my SD cardwith a file explorer and it would show space had been used but that there aren't any files or folders on the sd card. I don't know if this has happened with anyone else maybe I just got unlucky with a bad card out of a batch, which I know can happen. But it is still annoying with how inconvenient it all was and how let down I was knowing I paid for a faulty item.

Speeds "up to" 100 mb/s
17 August 2021

I installed this card into my Laptop, primarily so I could put games onto it. This memory card says it has access speeds of up to 100 MBps, and from what I have read, you only need memory speeds of 60 MBps for gaming. When I hear information like that, I would assume that playing games from a Micro SD card which is at least 60 MBps, I would experience my video games normally. This is NOT so. Even for small games, such as Stardew Valley (500 MB total size), I experience hitches mid-gameplay when new content needs to be loaded, such as when I go inside a building or delve into the mines. This occurs for all games that need to load assets while the game is running, which is virtually all games. It really cheapens the experience, and it seems to me that this memory card's claim of "up to 100 MBps" is like saying a single banana could cost up to $100. Technically true, but super misleading.

Works great with Thinkware dashcam
9 April 2022

Using these with a Thinkware dashcam. The cards go for quite a while before they hit their write endurance limit. I'm replacing these after maybe 3-4 years of light use. Heavy use expect 2 years. Priced very competitively and the full size SD adapter included is handy. Probably my only request would be to offer the tiny MobileMate USB A adapter for those who use a desktop and not a laptop. I have both adapters now so I'm covered. Very happy with my purchase. Keep up the good work SanDisk!!!
