One of the main reasons to pick this model over the others is it's less-than-three slots size and 313mm length, which makes it viable for an mITX build. I put it in a Torrent Nano case, which fits with not a lot of clearance at the bottom. You probably wouldn't be able to install bottom-mounted fans, but the card's own fans seem to do a decent job. The provided support bracket was never going to fit, and doesn't seem especially well-suited to the card since it would have to be mounted across the path of the fans. Luckily, the Nano's built-in bracket system _just_ fits with a bit of a struggle.I noticed a tiny bit of coil whine on first startup but really nothing since, which is nice. Performance-wise, it seems very stable and junction temps have stayed well within ... MoreOne of the main reasons to pick this model over the others is it's less-than-three slots size and 313mm length, which makes it viable for an mITX build. Very much plug, install drivers, and play.Slightly bummed that I bought three days earlier than the stocktake sale though!

MASSIVE Frame drops and stutters no more!
24 March 2023

I primarily play R6S, Rimworld (the only playable game alongside any game that uses simple graphics, like BTD6), and The Long Dark and been needing an upgrade for a while now since the 2070super/ti in my rig was experiencing stutters, random triple digit frame losses in both averages and lows every 5-10 seconds and a few crashes (might've been bus bandwidth or vram) leading it from a silky smooth and buttery experience to like playing on a low end, 2004 dell pc likely found on the side of the road. Overall, playing with the 2070super/ti hasnt been a very good experience recently on any first person game. Overall, playing with the 2070super/ti hasnt been a very good experience recently on any first person game. Til recently, i've been able to play at higher frame rates and at a higher quality with the XTX, I was going with the 40 series up until i saw how idiotic the pricing, P-T-P (Price To Performance), and how cut down the cuda cores were. Skipping Nvidia this generation has never been a better and going with AMD for this generation and for future generations is the way i'll go. It's a excellent card, with good performance. The 6950xt was able surpass the 3090 with numerous driver updates, and i have some doubts that the XTX will surpass the 4090, but time will tell whether that's a pipe dream or a reality. Am i Praising AMD on making a good graphi- YES. Am i aware that there is potential issues? Yes. Is it the BEST GPU on the market? Definitely not. That'll go to the power hog that is the 4090. However, for the price, you'll essentially getting a """4080 16gb""" (which really should be the true 4070 ti) for less and with more vram, whats not to like? 5/5 would buy if it wasn't for me already having one :DFor those curious, my hardware was:R7 7700x2070ti/super (too lazy to find the box so whether it's a ti or super will remain a mystery)ddr5 5600 dominator plat from corsairLG 165hz monitorStorage is samsung 980 pro 2tb ssdHardware Now:R7 7700Sapphire tech pulse 7900XTXddr5 5600 dominator platLG 165hz monitorSamsung 980 pro 2tb ssd

Sapphire Nitro+ performance without the Nitro price!!!
29 January 2023

This is a great compromise between the 2 8pin connector cards and the only card that's better than this one in my opinion...The Sapphire Nitro plus 7900 XTX. Power Color and the others can continue to put all their money into ridiculous marketing but Sapphire produces quality cards every time. Their cards speak for themselves and don't need stupid marketing involving deities to sell.

Quiet till fans until card was overclocked, only had coil whine when 80% speed with OC in place. The 7900 XTX Cons:1. Card is not designed for any substantial overclocking. This card doesn't have ample power/ability I was looking for to overclock.2. Size of the card delineates cooling capabilities for overclockingSummary:--I almost kept this card, its actually very good quality; however, I am a power fiend and even if I don't use it, I need the ability to substantially OC my hardware.--I wanted to stick with AMD since I prefer AMD software but opted for a 4080 Tuf Gaming knowing I could do some serious OC if I wanted.Important NOTE: Getting the 4080 imaging even close to the quality image of the 7900 XTX was a difficult task.
