This is the third set of Scanpan knives I have purchased for the family. Ive had mine for about 10 years now, never regretting the purchase. Rockwell tested for hardness, easy to sharpen and hold the edge long. Brilliant.

Delivery was unexpectedly swift. I did have some issues determining which knives went in which slots and I continue to find the fork is not fitting well. Overall an excellent set, however, knives retain their edges well - even on glass cutting boards - and are very well weighted. The top edge of the cook's knife is slightly too sharp for extended "chefy-grip" style cutting. The matching steak knives are fantastic too!

Very nice feel, good weight & balance. The edge as supplied is good enough but using a Schrade SCKIT2 Advant-Edge Knife Wet Stone Sharpening System brought the edge to absolute razor sharpness & they hold that edge for a long time before touching-up is needed. They need to be cleaned after use or the blades rust - not a real issue as you should clean your knives immediately anyway. Highly recommended.
Love these knives! I didnt realise how bad my old ones were until i started using these. Only thing I would suggest is take dishwasher safe off the description. My husband put them in the dishwasher and even using rinseaid they now have rust spots all over them. Hoping that lemon juice will remove it because it looks awful. It hasn't affected the knives performance thank goodness
Very prompt delivery. Knifes are good quality. Managed to cut my finger on the first day of use due to sharpness (my fault). Much easier to cut Tomatoes etc not just fingers!
I have only had them a month and one has just broken. I have emailed and sent pictures, we'll see what happens. But they are awesome to use!! Nice feel and very sharp.
I love these knives! This is the first set of good quality knives I've owned and after only 3 weeks I'm already wondering what I did without them. There is a knife for every purpose in the kitchen. These knives are a beautiful addition to any kitchen. Their quality romps all over the Global knives that I have. If you are just starting a new kitchen collection, cough up the extra money and do it right the first time- you won't regret it! These knives eliminate the need to spend so much time preparing meals. Even if you have little or no knife skills, you will find yourself able to do some pretty fancy knifework with these blades. As always, kitchenwarehouse, your service is superb. These are fine knives for a kitchen. I have support staff and Im comfortable with them using these knives because they are decent and strong, and werent too expensive. They are no where near as good as my global knives, which is to be expected as they are a fraction of the price. They are a bit heavy, okay balanced, and keep an edge well enough. I would say that they are fine for a starter kitchen, can be used to make great food, and very nice if you havent had decent knives.
