Scanpan Glass Lid 20cm

We bought the Scanpan wok from Peters but they didn’t have the size lid we needed. We used there Let us know when they are in stock feature. Very pleased to have the quality lid now to fit the wok.

CLASSIC 11'' Glass Lid

I searched for a high quality 12" skillet and could not find the quality I wanted. Saw that this pan had great reviews but only had the 11". I'm glad I decided to get it and the lid. It is too heavy for me to flip, but I don't mind giving that up for the quality. I need tips on how to keep the bottom nice and shiny. I plan to purchase other size pans!

I was really pleased with the ease and speed with which the lid for the Scanpan 8" frying pan arrived - the pan is available in store but the clear glass lid is not; it was delivered free of charge and very promptly.One area you could improve on is ensuring that your staff know that the lid can be supplied; the first two sales people I spoke to did not mention this and I thought that I would have to get a different brand. It was only while I was thinking about what to do that a third sales person approached me and informed me that your company could supply the lid.

Good fit

Fits the pan well and a good replacement for the splatter guard I was using before. Have been using this for a few weeks. I just wash it in warm soapy water with the stainless steel pan and that does the job well. Glad I bought it.

Large glass lid for nonstick fry pan

Although not the same brand, it fit the large non-stick fry pan I bought previously.Very well made and study. Easy to clean.

Lid fits my Silit saucepan

I have recently purchased an induction cooktop - so wishing to avoid the expense of buying a whole new set of saucepans decided to resurrect my beautiful Silit saucepans ( wedding present over 40 years ago). I was dismayed to find that I was unable to purchase a 16cm lid at my local homewares shop. Decided to give this Scanpan lid a go and pleased to advise that this lid works perfectly,

Makes oldish saucepans look like new.

The lids replace ones which became cloudy with age. The new lids make oldish saucepans look brand new. Very happy with purchase.

Wobbly Handle

I got 11" lid at the SLT store and I thought I could trust the brand. It is expensive for what it is, but I thought the quality should be as high as the price, but NOPE, the knob is loosely fit and wobbles so bad that it takes a few tries to place it snugly over my skillet. I could have gotten something better at a lower price. How did this even pass quality control?

You're probably gonna need this

If you are serious about using your Scanpan frying pan, you will need the lid. I have found that the frying pan has comparatively lower sides than other "standard" pans, so the lid is handy. It is a good lid, and is very impressive at ensuring nothing escapes the pan. There is something very right and secure about the way the knob feels in your hand, but unfortunately the knob also lets it down a bit - it requires tightening on a regular basis, and water tends to collect under it when washing.
