This Scanpan Pro IQ 26cm Frying Pan is made from hand-cast 100% recycled aluminium which offers outstanding heat distribution and is guaranteed not to warp or have hot spots. Non stick surface performs well.I am using it on my AGA and it even fits in the oven when needed (baking or simmering ovens only because of temperature limit).To improve the pan needs another ‘handle’ opposite the main handle to make it easy to carry it when it’s heavy. However if it had that it wouldn’t fit in the AGA oven.

These pans are incredible to cook with. I have had a scanpan wok for years but was reluctant to spend the money on frypans. I wish I had bought them years ago instead of wasting money and being sucked in to numerous other cheaper brands. Now have bought 3 frypans of different sizes which will last me for years and are a delight to use.Appliances online were wonderful. Priced matched and delivery was free and arrived the next day.Do yourself a favour and buy at least one.

The fry pans of Scanpan are of high quality and this one is no different. The only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the fact that they have the steel rivets. The Classic range have a completely smooth surface, no rivets so it can be done. Still, would recommend this pan.
I’ve been using this pan regularly for a week and a half. Its thermal performance is fantastic. It sears nicely. The weight is very balanced. A solid performer. Highly recommend
So far, I?ve bought 3 skillets and 1 sauté pan with lid. They are all the Pro IQ series. I want to collect more pieces but since they are so expensive, I have to wait a few months in-between purchases. I LOVE this cookware! It really does have even heating. Other makers just claim their products heat evenly. Not only that - it is a dream to clean up! And the best part is that I can use regular utensils and tools instead of plastic ones! I just wish that Pro IQ included a bigger saucepan that is between the 3.2 qt and the Dutch oven. These products have a Lifetime warranty/guarantee. They do not lose the surface of the pots ever. That alone is one super reason to buy these products!
I bought a small Scanlan frying/sauce pan to try it out. I was totally impressed. The rounded lid keeps moisture inside so food does not stick or burn. With the lid off, it browns food nicely with NO oil or other additives. No soaking after cooking is needed. Just give the pan a gentle washing and/or wiping as needed after use Because of my love for the one Scanpan, I bought the larger Chef's Pan. With summer heat, I have not used it yet, but I have confidence it will be as pleasing as my original purchase. My only problem now is how to justify ditching my perfectly good cooking utensils so I can get all the Scanpan items I think I will need.
A pleasure to cook in. We still have our previous Scanpan IQ 32 cm frying pan bought in May 2017 which has be used once or twice every day for nearly five & a half years, mainly for frying, and is still in use. The non-stick coating is still quite effective but is not so good with frying eggs so we are treating ourselves to a new pan! We also have a 26 cm IQ frying pan, used frequently, but less often for frying, and its non-stick surface is as good as when we bought it. Thoroughly recommend Scanpan.
Have owned 2 sizes of the Pro IQ skillets and the large 2 handle sautuesse pan for nearly 7 years. Absolutely love them. Won't make eggs in anything else! Lightly wash and wipe dry. They are my preferred pans in the kitchen. I never use metal utensils in my pans - silicone and wood always. Knowing the pans have a lifetime warranty let's me know the company stands by the product. Absolutely love these pans.
This is my second scanpan non stuck frypan! I have absolutely used my first one to death! They are the best.. I was never a fan of non stick until this was recommended to me and here I am on my second…absolutely recommend hands down
