I purchase Scan Pan products because of their commitment to environmental responsibility as well as being one of the first manufacturers to do so: Recycled aluminum; Non-toxic cooking surfaces made of titanium and ceramic. This pan simplifies my life. It heats quickly, cooks evenly, is easy to clean without requiring a lot of scrubbing. With a glass lid, that also has a vent hole to allow steam to escape, it is easy to keep an eye on what I'm preparing. I gave this pan only 4 stars because the handles need to be redesigned. They are awkward to use because of their shape.
