I wasn't sure how these shoes were going to feel as I was coming up from Scarpa Arpias. These shoes are even more comfortable than the Arpias and the sizing is perfect. The rubber is sticky and I had no issues with climbing in them on my 1st session, without them being broken in yet. These shoes mean more to me than just shoes. These were a gift to myself after sending my 1st 5.12a (7a+) in my local gym and a stepping stone into a new chapter of my life and passion for climbing. I am so happy with these and I will continue to climb in Drago LV's for the remainder of my (still very new) climbing career.

Fits like a glove for me. Normal Drago's were loose around my heel, these are a much better fit for my feet.Using them 2 times a week now for 4 months, they seem to last okay!

Insanely good climbing shoes says my 13yr old daughter! She had the original Drago before these & i then read about the new cut (narrow heel, less fabric on top) & as we live in New Zealand I crossed my fingers they would live up to the reviews. They did! And the service from Rock+Run was just as good.

Have taken a while to wear in but excellent shoes - good heel and toe grips, flexible and have improved my climbing.
This is the fifth climbing shoe I've tried and by far my favorite. They do run small. I wear a 7.5M women's shoe and bought these in 39.5 and they still felt super tight and took a while for me to break them in to my comfort level.Great aggressive shoe though - better than my Booster S and Futuras. Considering buying a backup pair as mine are now out for resole.
First off, I wear a 42.5 in most Sportivas, and I found the same size in the Drago LV to be a little smaller/tighter than similar sized shoes right out of the box. However, this is a very soft, split sole shoe with very soft XS Grip 2 rubber - so I assure you, they WILL stretch. Initial sizing is on the small side, but wear them for a few sessions and they'll quickly stretch a half size or more. If you're afraid of the initial fit, I'd recommend sizing up one half of a European size.Like the regular Drago, they have rubber in all of the right places, but a little less material on the upper, a narrower heel, and a slightly narrower toe box. So if you found yourself swimming in the regular Dragos like I did, give these a shot. Toe and heel hooks just feel so much ... MoreFirst off, I wear a 42.5 in most Sportivas, and I found the same size in the Drago LV to be a little smaller/tighter than similar sized shoes right out of the box. Toe and heel hooks just feel so much more locked in when you have a snug fitting shoe that's this sticky.Aesthetically speaking, they're an attractive shoe since they're not colored with some retina-frying fluorescent colors that clash with every other piece of gear. I don't care much about the look of the shoe myself, but if you're the type that does, it may be worth mentioning that I get many compliments on these shoes.I especially appreciated the construction of the upper. Unlike every pair of Evolvs I've tried (and several other manufacturers shoes), there was no annoying seam above my big toe, digging into my knuckle and stripping me of my will to climb.I would definitely recommend these for steep and/or overhung routes/boulders. I would not recommend them for slabby climbs where you need to stand or pivot on many tiny edges - remember, these are very soft shoes.
They’ve stretched loads and the upper has started yellowing, only used them twice! Bit disappointed
I'm sure they would've been great if the sizing wasn't so severely screwed up! A Backcountry rep swore to me that I will be fine with the same size as my street shoes, which is 37-38 depending on the manufacturer. So I bought size 38, and they're TINY!!! To make matters worse, I live in Argentina, so returning these shoes and buying new ones is not a small feat! You have to wait for someone to be flying in to bring stuff to you, so you end up waiting for weeks or months. Which is what I now have to do. Word of the wise: when buying Scarpa, size UP at least 1 size from your street shoes, otherwise you won't fit into them! So upset right now, can't even begin to come to terms with this.

Scarpa Drago LV Climbing Shoe - White
The Drago LV is the little brother of the absolute classic among softline models. This LV (low volume) high-end climbing shoe features an upper made of microfiber, crafted from seven pieces. These are sewn together in such a way that the shape perfectly hugs the foot without causing pressure points. The PCB Tension System in the midfoot area provides some support while allowing the foot to move flexibly. The midsole, with a Flexan insert in the big toe area, supports the foot when standing on small footholds. The shoe's asymmetrical shape, downturn, and high toe box ensure perfect power transfer and a precise, sensitive tip. The very thin 2 mm Vibram XS Grip2 rubber layer at the heel and the SRT rubber in the toe area guarantee excellent hooking properties. The grippy Vibram XS Grip2 sole rubber is flexible and allows for perfect friction standing on volumes. All boulderers and climbers with narrow feet looking for a soft climbing shoe that excels on friction holds while providing some support for standing on small footholds will find the Drago LV to be an excellent choice.
