Scarpa Veloce L Climbing shoes-45.5

(13 reviews)

Designed to provide exceptional grip when indoor climbing, the Scarpa Veloce L Climbing Shoe is one of our go-to shoes for climbing gyms. Featuring a lace closure for a customized fit and a slightly curved, asymmetrical profile, the Veloce L is super comfortable on the wall. Scarpa's DTS tension system provides tension in two different strengths on either side of the foot, allowing the big toe to deliver more power and control. The sole of the Veloce L is made up of two kinds of rubber, M50 and S72, with the M50 being Scarpa's softest compound and located around the toes and the top part of the foot, while the S72 is a high-friction rubber that works equally well on outdoor rock as it does indoor.

I bought these because of indoor climbing and they were correct. They are easy to put on and take off…It runs true to what size you need..

Size: 40.5 | Street Size: 42Bought these a couple of months ago as a training shoe. Usually I would wear my Instincts but I only primarily use them for outdoors. Once I bought these tings, man, they really stick to everything. These versus the regular Velcro version really locks down everything. More customized fit, super comfortable to leave on at all times, super sticky rubber that’s great for standing on volumes and smearing.I will point out that the microfibre upper does stink WAY more than my other shoes. Heel hooking and toe hooking isn’t super incredible as the heel doesn’t have much structure so any hard pulling unhinges of my heels, and not a lot of rubber on the toe.All and all, this shoe’s spectacu-fricking-lar.
