Sculpey III 56g Teal is a soft and pliable oven-bake clay that is a great ceramic like modelling material suitable for students, artists and crafters of all ages. Create fine detailing, tooling and texturing that won’t fill in after it has been added. Used alone, in combination with or mixed with other colours, non-toxic Sculpey III 56g Navy Pearl can be used for a range of jewellery, sculpture, home décor, and mixed media projects at home or school. Sculpey III remains soft until it is baked. It will not air dry and can be stored and reused until it is cured in your home oven. Clay can be conditioned by kneading or rolling through a pasta/clay conditioning machine. Use a range of tools and texture sheets, Sculpey can be rolled, cut and extruded to create intricate details and patterns. Sculpey can be used over aluminium and wire armatures. This not only makes the clay more economical, but it also ensures a more even thickness of clay that is less likely to crack when baking. It is important to follow these baking instructions to achieve successful outcomes – do not exceed the following temperature or time requirements. Bake at 130 °C (275 °F) for 15 minutes per 6 mm (1/4 in) thickness in your home oven. This clay is not suitable to be used in the microwave. Sculpey III has a matt finished that can be polished. Uncured clay may damage unprotected working surfaces, please make sure your work area is covered. A silicon mat, wax paper, aluminium foil or a metal baking tray are suitable working surfaces. Ensure your hands and surface are clean and free from dust and debris as the clay can easily be contaminated.
