SE Electronics V3 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone

These are amazing and have brought our game to a whole new level.

Had this Mic for about a year now. Been thru the toughest outdoor weather conditions, dropped and banged. Still holds up to be a great vocal mic, and an instrument mic when needed to be. Highly recommended for the sound, the look, and the build quality, especially for the price.

Thought I'd comment on the V3 since there hasn't been many reviews on this mic yet, and several on the V7. I play multi instruments in bands - and a small group in church. The keyboard is one instrument, and I use a cardioid patterned mic because I turn my head often and sing from the sides of the mic - so I need that volume that is eliminated from super and hyper cardioid mics. The V3 is an excellent mic - especially for the tenor+ ranges. There is a slight hum in the lower baritone / bass range at close proximity - but that can be eliminated by technique (learning how to back away just right. etc.). And - the internal wind screen is not enough to cut out the plosives - add an external foam mic cover. The mic is very distinct - for the price, a great buy.
