It’s so crazy to me that people can’t like this. I truly don’t understand why. What exactly are they expecting? One leaf is enough to wash my hands and face while backpacking. I also use one for a back country bidet just make sure you have enough water on “hand” (butt). It’s not too drying, very cleansing- lots of bang for the lightweight buck.I read one reviewer who is trying to wash entire tub of clothes while in France. If you’re in a hotel in France just go buy some laundry detergent for crying out loud. This is for backpacking or back country use were weight and space is your primary priority. No it will not wash a tub of clothes with one leaf! Let’s get our priorities straight people.

I tried multiple sheets with a few things and then tried multiple sheets with just one sock. The water never gets soapy, there is no fragrance—other than my clothes still smelling and having dirt on them. It does not work at all, don’t waste your money.

Perfect for travelling light.I never check luggage on flights.I bring as little as possible in cabin luggage.I only bring light and fast drying technical clothing which I wash in the bathroom. It does a great job.I must mention that you need to use more than one sheet per wash.Perfectbitem for the light traveller as well as for campers, canoeists and trekkers.

My first time trying this product. Since I needed to keep my baggage weight to a minimum, this was great because it is so small and weights almost nothing. I did find that I needed to use 2 sheets in a sink with just a few clothes items. I recommend it and would use it again.
I love that this soap is nice and foamy and it doesn't have any toxic scents. I take it with me because I have extremely sensitive skin, and soaps in public bathrooms often irritate my skin. I hope they never discontinue this soap!
This works nearly as advertised. You have to use more than what the package says to really get clean if you’re using it for a full blown shower which is a bummer, but it’s small, light, and you don’t have to worry about it spilling. If you’re only planning on taking a few showers, it’ll work splendidly. Bonus points for being TSA friendly. Bottom line, grab it if space and weight are at a premium otherwise I’d pass it up in favor of a liquid alternative
Bought this for an upcoming through hike. I was looking for something light, small but strong enough to clean my clothes. I used my clothes from a day hike that I did earier that day. These were typically soiled, nothing extreme, just normal trail dust and dirt. I started out with 5 leaves in the 10 liter bucket. The dirt grime was not coming out. I added 5 more leaves. Still wasn't cleaning dirt from the socks. The water never felt soapy and never changed color either. I finished the clothes and hung them to dry. They still didn't even smell clean.I think this would be great for a traveler that just sat on a plane or walked through the city streets. Not strong enough for the sweat and grime that you get from hiking. I will go back to the liquid soap.
This little pack fits in the palm of your hand. I grabbed it to throw in my travel kit for washing things in the sink. Tested a leaf and it seems to do the trick. Last time I travelled with scented sheets and they stunk up my whole luggage, this won’t.
Super surprised at the reviews, maybe it is expectation maybe intended use. I love my little 'bird baths' as my friend calls them when out backpacking. For light weight backpacking these are perfect. While you will never get a fully clean shower experience with these, that was not my expectation. You do have to be diligent about pulling out sheets when your hands are dry, otherwise they stick together as one would expect. I have found that success depends on what you are using to wash and the process you use. I lather up one or 2 leaves for the intended body part then wash with a small sponge. It takes 1 for face, 2 for each leg, 1 for each arm/pit, and one for each foot, 1 for privates.I think they work great and love not having to worry about bottle leakage or ... MoreSuper surprised at the reviews, maybe it is expectation maybe intended use. I bought this ages ago along with a portable line. Finally got to use both on a recent trip south. A couple notes:1. Make sure your hands are dry when you take out the leaves of soap.2. One leaf wasn't quite enough for a bathroom sink laundry load, but two was perfect.3. Make sure your hands are dry when you take out the second leaf of soap!!!Rinsing was easy -- only took one sink of water, a few swish-arounds, and the soap was gone. Not the most thorough clean, but in our case, enough to rejuvenate a couple "personal" items for re-wearing on the trip.
