I’m very happy with creation watches and with my new watch. They managed to get it from Singapore to California in 3 days, including Saturday and Sunday, arriving two days earlier than expected. It arrived complete with box and warranty card and all, in perfect condition from what I can tell. The watch is exactly what I hoped it would be, it’s the perfect size, not huge, looks great, fits great, light and comfortable, casual and not pretentious but way cooler than a quartz watch. Too soon to say how accurate it is but so far so good. I felt like I was taking a chance ordering from this website as I had never heard of it before, but I would not hesitate to order again.

I have never owned a quality mechanical watch till this Seiko 5. A friend once gave me a dirt cheap chinese skeleton which I wouldn't mention in polite company, and I had sold off a vintage Omega automatic I had absolutely no interest in wearing or keeping. So this is my first quality mechanical. Be warned, the face looks a lot bigger in youtube videos, but is quite small in person. At first this was disappointing, I don't need a face to be huge in a gaudy sense but I like a bit of width to face. After a week I've gotten used to the small face and actually like it! I don't think I've ever owned an army green watch, this is my first, and I love it, compliments a lot of my clothing. I'm not entirely sure how accurate of a movement it is, but I hear it's pretty good for the price range. The day of week/date is welcomed feature. Very happy. Don't forget to wear it at least occasionally so keep the movement in tact and keep it face up during the night, etc. Love it.

I've never encountered a better watch for the price than this one. For $97, you get a nicely sandblasted case, a workhorse automatic movement, a nifty canvas strap with leather inlay, day and date wheels, and a display case back. The dial and hands are incredibly legible. The olive-green color of the dial is a nice break from the usual white, blue, and black. Small, thin, and light, the watch case is perfect for summer. A ridiculous value and a handsome, useful watch -- price not considered. The deal was too good to pass up, so I picked up this model in all four colorways.

The wife really wanted a watch but the seiko she wanted was out of stock. I only wanted to buy from Long Island so I found a couple that they had. When the watch showed up she was actually impressed and happy the other watch was out of stock. She wears this thing everywhere and she is not a watch person at all. The band is really nice!! I was a little jealous as the watch would have worked for me too. Long Island seems to be a great company and I get a lot of info off their YouTube channel. Thanks Long Island!!!
This watch is lightweight, comfortable to wear, well made, and easy to read. The lume is bright, and the time keeping is accurate. At just under $100, this is a great value for a field watch with military style. The stock strap is comfy, but can be easily changed out for another if desired. I also like the clear case-back. It is cool to see the self-winding mechanism move. My only word of caution is that this model is water resistant, but not waterproof. It will repel everyday things like rain, sweat, etc. However it cannot be submerged underwater. I have many Seikos and this is a great reminder why I like them so much. Highly recommendable, and would make a great gift.
When these went on sale, I had to have one. The dial just looks sharp, as I'd tend to expect from Seiko. The 7S26 movement isn't exactly amazing (no hacking/hand-wind), but it is definitely tried & true. I'd also prefer a sapphire crystal over hardlex, but it holds up well enough. The lume, while in small amounts, is still Seiko's Lumibrite and holds up well after a good charge. Mine has kept time well and is very light - I forget it's on my wrist sometimes. But it's a great field watch and I'm happy I bought it!
I prefer rugged "old school" watches these days. Especially ones that don't "break the bank." And being an automatic makes the value even better. I was surprised when I saw this listing as I didn't think Seiko made these kind of watches any more. Thanks.
I really like this watch, the dial is darker under normal light than shown in the pictures but that's what I was hoping for, the self winding movement does jangle with more harsh movement but it's not noticeable in anything but complete silence. The illumination is bright and charges fast, haven't tested to see how long it lasts though. the strap is comfortable, if a little stiff out of the box. the recessed and offset crown gives it a very sleek look and feel. I had hoped the second hand would stop when setting the time, however this isn't the case. I did have concerns about the height of the case, I don't have huge wrists (about 6.5 inch), however it sits really well and isn't noticeably tall. Overall a nice everyday watch, I'm quite happy with it.
This is a great looking watch that fits in well in a utilitarian respect as well as moderate dress. The look is not over the top, and the dial is a traditional size for a man (around 37mm roughly). The band is comfortable and even though it is a tough nylon like material, it does not gouge your skin or anything like that. I've always been a fan of Seiko watches just for their reliability and the option for more muted styles like this even when ridiculous styles are what's popular (52mm dials, what the heck?). This watch however has managed to bring about a few less than desirable traits, a first from a Seiko for me, to which I feel the need to drop a star. They are not major at all, but worthy of note. This watch however has managed to bring about a few less than desirable traits, a first from a Seiko for me, to which I feel the need to drop a star. They are not major at all, but worthy of note. First... It's a noisy watch. Not in operation, but the pendulum for the automatic winding is very loud. Just driving a car with your wrist resting on the top of the steering wheel it rattles enough people in the back seat can hear it. While you could say that's a character trait of a self winding watch, I have had others that are dead silent, including even cheap Chinese watches. So it isn't like it's impossible, this watch just is loud. Second, the dial scratches easily. I've always worn watches while at work and even in harsh treatment I've never had any problems with the dials scratching except under really unfair conditions, and even then it was minor scratching. This watch got a big gouge in the dial the first day I wore it, I don't even know how. Whatever it was, I didn't even notice it happen. For something touted as being scratch resistant, it's terrible. It hasn't scratched since, but the damage is done anyway. Lastly, the night glow. Sucks. Previously every Seiko have had has glowed for hours on end, longer than I would stay awake anyway. This watch uses some new(er) mode of glow that doesn't use irradiated material apparently. According to Seiko this is newer safer and better glow than the older way. It's not better, the others I can't speak to. It goes for maybe 5-10 minutes strongly, then incredibly dimly for maybe an hour at best. A part of the issue I think is that it starts glowing in broad daylight... It reacts too soon. At 4-5pm sometimes I'll look and even though it's bright outside (or indoors whatever), the arms and hour indicators are bright as can be, and totally unnecessary. It starts dimming very quickly.By the time it's dark, it's almost done glowing. I still like the watch and won't stop wearing it over these issues, but they were definitely surprises for a long time Seiko customer and will be taken into account on future purchases. Edit: another week in and the dial is scratched and nicked like nobodies business. Truly disappointing how terrible the scratch resistance is compared to Seikos in the past.
This has to be one of Seiko's coolest-looking watches. Small and light. Perfect dial. Cool hands. Cool brushed-finished case. Lume good enough to be readable at 5AM. Strap is OK. Note: the movement and dial of this watch fit perfectly in any Seiko SKX diver case. I put this watch's movement and dial in my SKX 007 case, creating the coolest dive watch ever, or a field watch on steroids.
