This is the 1st watch that made me leave my Omega Speedmaster at home. The movement is totally silent for an automatic self winder. Wears easy, the bracelet is very high quality and the dial is super legible and the lume is fantastic. Bravo Seiko!

This watch is excellent. It wears perfect, distribution of colors and elements of the piece are awesome. Defiantly one of the best Seikos out there.

Watch is well made and keeps time well. Have hardly taken it off. Highly recommended. One of the best watches out there.

This baby ticks all my "dive watch buttons". 200M resist, domed saphire, 70Hr reserve, great bracelet, smooth bezel click, 40.5mm case (not too big), large crown and no crown guards, retro Seiko dive watch look. BAM! (only 2 ways to improve this baby, higher end movement and ceramic bezel), but hardly worth complaining about.
Love this watch and have been wanting it in my collection for a while now. My only gripe about it is the bracelet. When adjusting for size I notice that some of the bracelet pins seem loose and push to far. Bit concerned about this, but will change to a NATO or a Rubber before it falls of my wrist. For £1000 I would expect a better finish.
Amazing dive watch, very well-dimensioned and wearable. It might feel a bit heavy due to the bracelet, but I'd say it is easy to swap it for a strap . There are so many options for this beauty. Great lume. The movement performs pretty well in my case, with about +30" gained in two weeks of usage. One star goes off because sizing the bracelet can be hard. I'd recommend anyone with little skills or patience to bring it to a shop and pay someone expert to do that for you.
Wanted this watch for a while but couldn't pay over a £1k for it. Watchnation had a discount offer which bought the watch price down considerably. I would recommend get an alternative strap as the bracelet is heavy.
Not counting my Grand Seiko, this is the best Seiko that I've experienced since I've began my collection 1.5 years ago. For context, I seriously started collecting watches 1.5 years ago and my 1st automatic diver was the SRPD55K1. I've also had an all black 5KX, and a Samuari. While not a technically a diver, but it has 200mm wr, I've also experienced the SARB017 Alpanist, and other Seiko's ranging from 300 to 700 and this tops them all. Admittedly, the SPB143 does fall short in comparison to my luxury Divers (Omega Seamaster, Breitling Superocean 42) it doesn't lag too far behind at 1/4 the cost. I'm aware of the problems with QC, but I have not experienced this and everything is aligned correctly. Also I feel people are being too hard on the bracelet quality. The ... The bracelet is not bad and the best I've experienced with a Seiko. For the price it's solid in my opinion. In conclusion, this is a great opinion to consider at the 1200 price range.
