Love this thing and will become one of my most used watches. In low light forget about reading the time. However, this was what this watch was meant for. Blacked out. The quality is very high on this watch and I'm sure this is simply a gateway for me into buying many more Seiko watches

I got this because I was looking for a nice, all black watch. The dial is a bit difficult to read, but it looks very cool. The watch itself is a nice build and looks great. The edges are a bit sharp, but it looks very clean. The strap looks great in photos, but it's very thin and feels cheap. As a result, it's hard to deal with and takes a while to put the watch on each time. The strap has a very long band and there is quite a bit of extra strap sticking out. I will definitely be upgrading the band. Given the build quality and the look of this watch, I am happy with the value.

Love this watch its exactly as advertised on the website. Great durable field watch. Comfortable nato strap, the strap is long but i double it over and tuck it in and dont notice it at all. The size of the watch sits perfectly on my wrist (17cm), nice low profile. Love the automatic function, it works beautifully. 10 bar WR means im never worried about it getting a bit wet. The luminance is a little hard to read in complete darkness but a little bit of light i can make out.

This is a great looking watch. I think the pictures on the site make it look much harder to read than it is in reality. The case and outer bezel are a matte gun metal while the top of the bezel and the dial are a slightly reflective black. The metal around the indices as well as the metal hands are very reflective making it easy to read in most lighting. The black does make the lume a little hard to see in the dark until your eyes adjust. For time, it's kept a fairly consistent +15 seconds/day which is even better than I had anticipated. Overall, I'm very happy that I went with this Seiko.
Live the watch and the stealthy look of it. With Seiko you know youre getting a reliable product. While this is no where near their top tier watches, its an amazing watch for the money. Im not a big fan of the plain black nato, but thats an easy fix. I would highly recommend this beautiful watch.
Nice watch. Fits perfectly, even on a small wrist. Even though it is a 42mm, it "feels" a bit smaller. 3-position crown with hacking seconds so you can wind it and also accurately set the time.Probably wouldn't recommend any serious swimming with this watch since it's a transparent back and has no O-ring, but it should survive a bit of water.
The watch is well made. It has a tactical look to it. Its only week point is that it has a limited power reserve. It will need to be reset every morning.
I really like the stealthy look. I have a smaller wrist, but the 43mm case fits well. It does have lume on the hands and hour marks, but they have a black coating over them so they are very dim. I wasn't really concerned with that personally, but if you're looking for bright lume, this isn't it. The nato strap fits the style well, but I went ahead and swapped to a satin black stainless bracelet. All in all, I really like this watch, it has become my daily go-to.
I bought this watch for my husband’s anniversary’s gift. He was surprised and excited with his new watch. It’s his first one I’ve got him and won’t be his last. There were a couple more that I loved from Seiko. Even for myself. The shipping was excellent. I got the package in 2 days!
Beautiful watch, amazing quality but I had to return it after wearing it for 8 hours…is way too thick as the point it’s so unconfortable. If that and the crappy strap doesn’t bother you this is a stunning piece.Wish it was thinner
