These headphones were purchased at the Bath branch on Boxing Day, replacing a set of cheaper Artiste RF headphones which became faulty after 4 years service. The difference in sound quality between the two is very apparent, with these having greater clarity, adjustability and offering a far more immersive sound when either listening to music or watching films. The cradle design also makes these much easier to charge as the contacts on the underside of the headband facilitate a more stable charging connection. Overall, one month in, I am very happy with them. Excellent service as usual from the team at Bath who also provided very helpful advice regarding digital audio splitters.

It was obvious the instructions and power cord had been used, but as for the headphones these seemed brand new (plastic and all). Difference in price well worth it (but 1 year warranty instead of 2).As for the quality of the product, for my use these are way better than my old rs 160 (and I still love them). But after extensive tests I came to the conclusion that my signal and or 6 year old cable box are responsible. Any imperfection in the signal will be heard with these headphones. As they say: garbage in, garbage out.To conclude, you will better appreciate these headphones if your use is limited to the transmitter area, as depending on your house configuration the reach of the signal is variable. Also, give yourself some time to get use to the volume bottons as they are to close to the bass and surround bottons (easily press the wrong one). For my needs the bass is more than sufficient, as for the surround I don't really hear the surround effect.These headphones are not perfect (which ones are?), but overall I am very satisfied with the product.
I bought these headphones too replace my old Bluetooth ones.They were ready to set up and a hot to listen to.The sound quality is really good they are comfortable on your ears and the headband does not hurt your head, the transmitter can take another set of headphones (HDR 175) which will let two people listen to the TV at the same time.Your get an audio cable and an optical cable and two rechargeable AAA batteries which can charge off of the transmitter unit or an other charger that charged NI MH batteries, your get a 2 year warranty.The only down side is that they are a little pricey but worth the investment and I would fully recommend them, Stephen at Richer Sounds was very helpful .

They are to replace a pair of Bluetooth connected headphone that they cannot keep connected. While these headphones are not a nice as the headphones they replace, they are easy to connect and should be ideal for their use. My main concern is that in testing these headphones, when the headphones are in the re-charging credal, the LED on the stand should change from Red to indicate the headphone are charging to Green when the headphones are fully charged. I find the headset on the heavy side, but comfortable nonetheless. Audio quality is great and I enjoy movies/music with the Bass Boost feature.On the technical side, this headset has rather poor signal quality from the receiver that is more sensitive than other similar headphones to RF interference. I keep the receiver near my router, and the 2.4 GHz WiFi would cause frequent signal drops every minute or so with very few devices connected. These are everything I expect from Sennheiser. I have had several of their hi-end over the ear headphones in the past and continue to use them with my stereo system. This brand was the first I went for when looking for a wireless set for my wife to use with the TV. The sound is amazing (of course) the wireless connection is perfect with no lag and they are fairly light. Not the lightest I tried, but this is to be expected because they have larger magnets in the speakers. First rate quality of materials and workmanship. LOVE THEM! (note: I bought the open box and saved a ton)
