I haven’t regretted my purchase for a single second. They are slightly heavier than the Avantree Aria but they have quality by the bucket load. The clarity is amazing, a whole new experience to hear sounds on my favourite movies I’ve never heard before! Another plus point is that I don’t need a separate wi-fi transmitter which I had to have with the Avantree as my tv doesn’t have wi-fi. They are also very comfortable, generously padded, great for a movie-night binge. Highly recommended.

Received and was pleasantly surprised to see they looked like brand new. I have used Sony products in the past which run around $100 but seen these where at a great price so decided to try them. I use mainly for TV listening so was hoping these would work well for that application. I can say the sound quality of Sennheiser vs my Sony set Sennheiser wins. As for comfort these do feel a bit more heavy or clunker then my Sony but within reason but not light. They were easy to set up as my TV has an 1/8'' audio output so it was just a plug and play pretty much. Came with rechargeable AA's that I charged overnight and appear to hold about 8hr charge well. All in all at the price point I would recommend these to anyone looking for a higher end set that wont brake the bank.

I purchased a pair of these headphones a while back and they are not worth half of the purchase price. The sound is acceptable but the build quality is shocking. The covering on the foam ear pieces started shredding at the 2 year point even though I had used them no more than once a fortnight. I work in the aviation business where Sennheiser headphones are common and should have known better than to purchase these given their reliability. If I saw these on offer for £50 I wouldn't be tempted. Avoid!

I bought these Headphones to replace a pair of Sennheiser RS180 wireless Headphones.These new RS175 Headphones have more Bass than the RS180's but don't sacrifice clarity in doing so. They even have a Bass boost Button if you really want even more. These Headphones are good for late night TV listening or Music. All round a great pair of Headphones. I'm very pleased with my purchase and as usual exceptional customer service from Richer Sounds in Southampton.
The original headset after years of use started to lose the connection to the base unit and would cut out with increasing frequency. It sounded like a loose connection but this was not the problem as the wiring was intact.The new headset works fine and no more problems and it was good to be able to buy only the headset as the base unit was OK. Evidently the headsets failing is not an uncommon occurence for Sennheiser to package and sell the headphones by themselves.These are superior to the bluetooth wireless headphones in terms of reception and the sound quality is excellent and comparable to wired headphones in this price range as with my Sennheiser 569 and Audio Technica M50x ones.
The headphones received a good and from CHOICE magazine so I purchased them. The headphones are comfortable to wear, easy to adjust and overall deliver good sound quality.The negatives are taking a very ;long time to charge and the way the headphones sit on the charger bar makes it easy to accidentally dislodge and stop charging. This is easily remedied by a small design modification. The bass was far less defined than equivalent ear pods
I recently had a hearing test (prompted by my daughter) and was told that, for lower and middle registers it was "not at all bad" but the upper registers needed help. I thought about this and concluded that all I need is something to improve TV dialogue. These headphones are great for that. I've tried them on familiar programs and they make a very big difference as I now hear (almost) all that is said - even quiet exchanges.There are a few minor problems. I find it difficult to use the controls on the pad as I cannot easily feel which button I am touching so its rather trial and error. For reference, my old headphones were the Razer Black shark V2 which had the most AMAZING headband thing. It was microfiber and was soft af. This meant you would never know if the headset was on you or not. It was like cuddling yourself in a warm bed in the winter, you could stay there for hours. Just like those headphones, you could wear them for hours just because they were comfortable. This is the kind of quality I expect from a $300 pair of headphones. And the Black shark was only $170! And the RS-175? No, it doesn't have that kind of quality. Infact, it is quite the opposite. It feels like every hour, someone places another brick onto my head, and after 3 hours of wearing them, and bricks are heavy. And they will give you plenty of headaches. The opposite of a nice, warm blanket in the chilly winter.At this point, I'm unsure whether these headphones are uncomfortable, or if I'm just really weak. Every review of every headset I have ever seen has the same phrase, "they are very comfortable for long hours of use," which you should always take with a grain of salt. Just like this review. This is very subjective.I'm sure it isn't actually that bad, and as I said, I'm just weak. But overall, these headphones are worth using daily. It's okay for gaming, it's not the most comfortable to wear over extended periods of time, but where the real selling point comes from the great sound quality while being wireless.
These headphones are amazing. We have an LG smart TV and have been using Sony WH-1000XM2 Bluetooth headphones with it. Although the Sony headphones are equally amazing when used with our laptop, they have never been fully compatible with our TV. The headphone volume has to be turned up to maximum to get a just about audible sound. However, the Sennheiser RS 175 headphones are a revelation. Easy to set up - just charge the batteries and plug into the TV optical port. They are light to wear and are very comfortable. The sound quality is crystal clear - I am re-watching dramas to hear the dialogue I missed with the Sony headphones! I highly recommend these headphones.
