Bought these having read other reviews. Ive a lot of in ear headphones about 26 at last count .. ok Im addicted to sound. The sound is incredible.. Ive all the big brands in competition.. you know the ones .. the sound is different its hard to explain but when I wear another brand I just keep coming back to these I feel so much more at home with them. Deep powerful sound with out being overbearing.. another review said the sound was mature and that is right .. I feel like Ive been listening to other music or songs on even more expensive ones. To sum up these should be at the very top of your list.

These earbuds are absolutely phenomenal. I own audio equipment from Beats, Bose, Apple, Sonos, Bowers and Wilkins, Yamaha, you name it. I'm a musician and serious audiophile. I tried these because I own a pair of wired Sennheiser studio monitoring headphones but they're big and bulky so they don't travel well. I've never found anything that compares in terms of sound quality... until now. The sound produced by these earbuds is unmatched by anything on the consumer market. Apple and Bose have some serious catching up to do. They can be a little tricky to get positioned properly and for some reason they drain the battery on the case and earbuds even after you turn them off, but I'd still give 10 stars if I could based on the sound reproduction alone. I know there are earbuds on the market with better battery life and a lower price point, but they can't compare to the sound production of these little goliaths. Any reviewer that says the sound quality is comparable to other earbuds on the market needs to see an otolaryngologist. I've owned these for about six months and I just gave my daughter my Bose over ear headphones because they've been collecting dust since the day I bought these. I did extensive research prior to purchasing these and tried multiple other earbuds and over ear headphones before coming to my decision. If your primary concern is getting the highest possible sound quality available you should look no further than the Momentum. Deep bass with beautiful highs and awe inspiring mid range with no audio distortion of any kind, absolutely amazing!

I had a pair of Jabra Elite 65t true wireless earbuds, which I liked a lot, but lost them when traveling. I bought the Sennheisers to replace them because I've read reviews of their audio quality. I am very pleased with the audio on these headphones -- I had to experiment with some different tips, but once I found a size that fit really well, the sound from the Sennheisers is the best I've ever head in Bluetooth headphones. The sound is very detailed, with a good range. I listen to a wide variety of music, from rock and pop to classical and jazz, and the Sennheisers work well for all types of music, as well as listening to audiobooks and podcasts. They also work well for me when used for phone calls. I listen to a wide variety of music, from rock and pop to classical and jazz, and the Sennheisers work well for all types of music, as well as listening to audiobooks and podcasts. They also work well for me when used for phone calls. The caller's voice is very clear, I get a good solid Bluetooth connection, and people at the other end report that my voice sounds clear and natural. What I don't like is that the earbuds are pretty buggy. I get very frustrated quite often when I try to answer my phone and call audio is still paired to the Sennheisers, even though they're in their charging case and in my pocket -- there are many times when the Bluetooth connection just don't end when you put the earbuds away. Also, the charging case has been a little challenging -- the Jabras would recharge the earbuds three times, the Sennheiser is supposed to do that twice, but there have been many times when I've only used the earbuds for maybe three or four hours since the last charge and the charging case is dead. This doesn't happen every time, but often enough that I always feel like I need to top off the charge much more frequently.I feel like these issues could be resolved with a firmware update, and if Sennheiser could fix those issues, I would give these a five-star rating. However, as good as the sound is, the bugs keep me from really loving them.
For the past couple of weeks I have ditched my white wireless headphones and I have been listening to music and watching videos on these new wireless headphones from Sennheiser now available at Best Buy.I have been running, walking, talking, driving, slip sliding, relaxing and chillaxing for the past couple of weeks and I have to honestly tell you I am loving the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones.I used to travel a fair amount (nearly 2 million actual flown miles on Delta) and I was an early adopter of noise-cancelling headphones. But I was always getting tangled in my cords. But I was always getting tangled in my cords. I then moved on to Bluetooth headphones. The challenge I had with some of my original Bluetooth headphones is that I could maybe get a couple hours with of music listening, but then it would die and I’d be stuck listening to the noise of the airplane. The same would go for working out at the gym or on my treadmill. The corded headphones caused a few treadmill or weightlifting mishaps and so for me it has been Bluetooth headphones for about the past 10 years. With changes in Bluetooth technology and phones, wireless headphones were always playing catch up. With the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones, you will be rocking with Bluetooth 5.0.According to HowToGeek.com, Bluetooth 5.0 provides Bluetooth Low Energy to reduce power consumption, play audio on two connected devices at the same time (way too cool) and improved speed and a greater range (up to 800 feet). All of this adds up to a greater audio experience in my opinion, while also providing low latency for exception audio and video synchronization. I did not notice any “dub” effect or lag in any videos I have watched. Not the case with some other Bluetooth headphones that I have previously used. When it comes to sound quality, the Sennhesier MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones is truly superior to all Bluetooth wireless headphones I have tried to date. With the Smart Control app, you can customize your bass and treble outputs to truly make this a personalized listening experience. For me, I prefer more treble than I do bass, which is easy to change. With the design of the headphones, they fit snug into your ears and it really blocks out a fair amount of ambient noise. This is great for listening to audio and video, but sometimes if someone is talking to you it can be hard to hear.Alas, Sennheiser has this figured out and you can enable Transparent Hearing either through the app or by double tapping the right earbud. This feature allows you to hear important announcements or surrounding sirens – all while your music continues to play and without having to remove your earbuds. When it comes to making telephone calls, these Sennheiser earbuds incorporates Two-Mic noice cancellation beam technology, which helps deliver high quality voice pick up even in the most noisy areas like a supermarket or train station.Once you pull your Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud headphones out of the sleek carrying case, they will automatically power up.To pair to your smartphone, computer or Smart Control app, you will press each button of the earbuds and hold for five seconds. Pairing is super easy, fast and enables you to quickly move between devices. The headphones come with four different sizing buds, which is great for me as I have two different sized ear canals which sometimes makes for a challenge when it comes to various earbuds.Insert the earbuds into your ear and slide backwards slightly to lock them in place. These earbuds are so easy to get in and out of my ears and I hardly even notice that I am wearing them as they are comfortable. The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones are great for physical activity. I have been able to pound the treadmill at a high rate of speed. To control the headphones you can quickly control music with a push or two of the button in the left earbud. The button for the right earbud controls call functions, such as accepting, ending and rejecting.I haven’t had any issues with the headphones coming out of my ears and when I sweat no issues at all with these headphones slipping out of my ears.Depending on the mobile phone, one quick push of the right button and Siri, Google Assistant or Baidu is quickly at your fingertips or shall I say at your voice lips. What about volume control? You’re covered with that functionality by either holding in the right earbud button to increase volume or the left earbud button to decrease volume. The compact, sleek and slim carrying and charging case will provide up to four hours of listening per charge as well as an additional two charges – for a total of 12 hours of listening time before you have to charge up the case. For me, I have been getting about 75 minutes of talk time before my charge goes to zero and about 4 hours and 15 minutes of listening time before my charge is depleted. One thing I have noticed is that my left earbud seems to be on average at 93% after charging overnight and my right earbud is at 100% overnight. Not quite sure why this is the case, but thought I would point this out.For those of you that might be used to Apple products, the Sennheiser case is powered by a USB-C charging port, so this will work well for a new MacBook pro charger.I would have also loved to have a longer charging cord because right now I have to mainly charge off of my USB port on my computer as the cord isn’t long enough for me to charge on my kitchen counter. An extra three or four inches of charging cord length would have been ideal.I do find that the carrying case is a little uncomfortable in my pocket as it is larger than other wireless earbud charging cases – however, I do find that the case is easier to find in the event I misplace it. I also have noticed it was easier to find in my pants before I washed my jeans.Overall I am definitely loving my Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless Earbud Headphones. The sound quality, latency, touch control, carrying case and amazing ability to easily switch between talking and audio/video output makes these a great addition for any audiophile or lover of a quality earbud headphone.Had I been able to give this 4.5 stars I totally would have. I would give this a 5 for audio quality and ease of use, but a four for the carrying case size and the adjustment needed for comfort.Right now these earbud headphones are perfect for me and hopefully you will agree.
I ordered multiple pairs of different brands of wireless earbuds to do a comparison on which pair to keep. So far, I've compared these Sennheiser Momentum Earbuds to the Sony - WF-1000XM3 earbuds and am surprised that these Sennheiser outperforms the Sony - WF-1000XM3. I'm a huge Sony fan with every electronic device in my home being a Sony. However, the Sony - WF-1000XM3 earbuds didn't come close to these Sennheiser Momentum in sound quality. The Sony - WF-1000XM3 are more appealing to look at and I experienced less complaints about clarity during phone call use than I do with these Sennheiser Momentum earbuds, which are not as appealing to look at. Both sets of earbuds have touch sensitive controls on them (no old school clicking buttons). In addition to the call quality complaints from the other end of my phone calls, I've also noticed that I'm getting an hour or two of use before the batteries need to be recharged in the Senheisser Momentum charging case. I started putting the Sennheiser Momentum earbuds immediately in their charging case when I'm not using them instead of keeping them in my ears when they're not in use. This seems to help prolong their operating time. These Sennheiser Momentum earbuds are more comfortable than the Sony - WF-1000XM3 also. The Sony - WF-1000XM3 felt like they were going to fall out of my ears. Yes, I chose the best earbud size for my ears and yes I adjusted the equalizer on both sets to their best capacity. No connectivity issues with either set. The rich surround sound like highs and ear drum thumping BASS that these Sennheiser Momentum deliver made them my deciding pair of earbuds to keep. Sony - WF-1000XM3 is being returned.
I find reading these reviews very entertaining, let me explain.First - Audio quality, earbud comfort, and even the controls are very subjective and come down to personal preference. Using audio quality as an example, an individuals hearing would fall in somewhere between hearing loss/impairment up to an Audiophile, and many points in-between. I consider myself as a music aficionado, so my input/recommendations would probably be inaccurate for approx. 80% of the general public, and my opinions would be of very little value. That being said, when asked the question "Would you recommend this to a friend", I would say NO. However what I would say is determine the features and price point you are interested in and compare the like brands and try each one. As an ... However what I would say is determine the features and price point you are interested in and compare the like brands and try each one. As an example if one is willing to drop $300 on truly wireless earbuds, look at Sennheiser, Master & Dynamics, and Bang & Olufsen. Most retailers have excellent return policies (usually 14 days) meaning one can purchase a product, try it, if all of your expectations are not met, return it and go to the next one. This may involve some work and I suppose a little bit of a hassle for the retailer, but HEY, you're spending your hard earned money on something that should be exactly what you want.Based on my personal preferences I rate the Sennheiser Momentum Truly Wireless at 4 stars, due to some minor considerations, which I have contacted them and made them aware of, but quality, performance and features all met my expectations.Second - The reviews that are comprised of one or two sentences and only say the product is either junk, overrated, or could not be recommended need to be taken with a grain of salt. It's pretty evident these reviewers were only venting because they may have read product reviews, and put too much trust in what they read without basing it off of their own personal preferences and requirements.Getting back to the Sennheiser earbuds, it is important to NOTE that many of the early/original reviews mentioning battery case/life, connectivity, and pairing issues (possibly to early of firmware release) have been addressed and implemented in their firmware update 1.26 (kudos for that). I purchased my Momentum's on July 9, 2019, and the first order of business was to download the latest firmware update (1.26), took approximately 45 minutes, once completed the earbuds have worked flawlessly. In conclusion I will not state that these earbuds have too little/much bass, that the mid's/high's are washed out/bright, that the sound stage is compressed/immersive, that must be a conclusion that you reach based on hearing the product first hand. Sorry to be so straightforward, but then again that's reality!! Do your homework put in some quality time and you to will end up with a product that meets your personal tastes and preferences!!
Thought I would post since I saw these advertised on sale, I bought them early 2019 near when they were released to use for my trip overseas, the battery life was shocking and is false advertisement in my opinion. Can't remember exactly what it says but from memory it advertises the case can hold like 2 charges worth to make it 12 hours in total or something and this is false as it can only actually hold 1 charge because it drains the battery or something when the case is not on charge? can't remember exactly but something like that. When i argued with jbhifi over wanting to return it they basically said too bad I should know that all wireless headphones with the charge case work like even though it defeats the purpose of a portable charge case having 2 charges, ... When i argued with jbhifi over wanting to return it they basically said too bad I should know that all wireless headphones with the charge case work like even though it defeats the purpose of a portable charge case having 2 charges, like what? Am I supposed to leave a portable charge case plugged in all day? I might as well just have a regular charger. I was pretty annoyed but they gave me the refund but yea I went wired after that for general use and use wireless sport headphones for sport. I am not sure about other wireless charging cases and if they work the same or if its been fixed but what I can say is be careful and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product. The positives are the typical really good sound quality that most sennheiser products offer and the noise cancelling works wells but yea kinda pointless if the battery doesn't last long enough to even last a full day. So unless they have fixed this do not bother.
These are a solid 3 stars IF AND ONLY IF you can grab them at a huge discount. I got them for $100, and I'd be angry if I paid any more than that. They sound great, no complaints there. Sometimes when I walk away from the audio source the connection goes spotty, which I haven't experienced with other wireless headphones. Not generally a problem. Where they disappoint is connecting to other devices. You always want Bluetooth devices to just work, and these mostly do, but every once in awhile they just decide to be a pain for no good reason. As far as I know, you have to use the app when you want to use transparent hearing (which works great), so I'm not sure how to turn it on when I'm using my PC. As far as I know, you have to use the app when you want to use transparent hearing (which works great), so I'm not sure how to turn it on when I'm using my PC. I get that transparent hearing is mostly for public situations, but it's good to have when you work from home, too. I have consistent issues trying to connect to one phone in particular, my Galaxy S7. I have no issues connecting my HD1s to the phone, and these buds do connect to it sometimes, so I know it's not the phone. Fortunately they haven't (yet) given me too much trouble with my main phone (Moto Z2 Force) ir with my PC. If the S7 were my only phone, this would be a much worse review and I'd have sent these back. Also, one time when I charged these overnight in the case, onlyone of the buds charged. Super irritating if I had to commute and use these at the office, but less of an issue at home. Since then I've made it a point to press down a bit when putting the buds in the case in case the issue was a faulty contact, and I haven't had that problem except the one time. So, if you can put up with some minor annoyances then these are worth picking up at a big discount. But if you have the cash to burn on the second gen version of these (which, no clue if they're better at connecting) or another brand, then do that instead. It's worth noting that if you get these direct from Sennheiser, they come with a 2-year warranty, so you do have recourse if you have dealbreaker issues.
I’ve been using them for 30 something days now, shipping took almost 3 weeks to deliver. First thing I noticed is charging case is very nice looking and feeling hinges maybe could be a little more durable they feel so weak, but very nice overall, pairing is as easy as it should be had some trouble at first but never since I have it paired with 2 devices that I use frequently and it I don’t have to repair ever works great, the sound quality is probably the best I’ve ever heard from in ear headphones, bass and all that is fine for me, app equalized is was easy to use and works great. I’ve worn them working out at home and walking around, and they’ve never fallen out, I’d be careful when taking off a hoodie as they will most likely be knocked out sometimes they feel like they will fall out but never do, I tried all ear bud sizes and the ones it came equipped with seemed to fit best, I would never wear these for a run that’s for sure but almost everything short of or working out indoors I would use them for. One of the biggest cons is the size of the buds, they are definitely not low profile, they look like tires hanging out of your ears I had several comments saying they looked like garbage cans, and yes they are bigger than what you are expecting but overall very very light and you don’t notice it, I’ve worn them for multiple hours and never had a problem with comfort which is huge cause that is something I struggle with with headphones, I use an iPhone and connectivity was easy peasy. All the rich controls were easy to use and worked fine volume up tends to jump up multiple levels when you use the up down feature but other than that works fine, microphone is par good enough not phenomenal, the initial packing box looks like it’s a nice product but out of all the on ear buds I’ve opened it was the least exciting compared to beats and monsters and the like, just a plain box really. I’ve had people say the buds themselves look very nice overall minus the fact that they are huge. For some songs I find max volume is not enough that being said I’ve been around a lot of explosions and my hearing might not be all that great I let a friend try them and 70% was perfectly loud for them so take that as you will. I’ve always Struggled to find in ear buds with enough volume and these are no different. I’ve never had any of these battery problems where they drain continuously the way I use it is take them out of my ear and put them back in the case which is plugged in always, and when I’m out of the house o never use them for more than a couple hours so not enough to drain anyway, so right now battery life is fine for me.All these headphones are missing is a fitness sports clip to lodge it in your ear a little more or even an optional one as I would like some more security, 2 maybe extra waterproof ness but they seem to have enough to get by, 3 louder volume? 4 lower price I got them on sale and with a gift card so it worked as they are best I’ve ever tried but not so much that demands a 400$ price tag before tax no way would I ever pay that for the feel I get from it, that being said they are phenomenal.
