I really like Sensodyne products when it comes to my oral health, specifically when dealing with sensitivity to my teeth. It helps right away after brushing to reduce sensitivity; if I have a particularly sensitive tooth, I gently apply some of the toothpaste by itself to that tooth and leave it alone for a minute or two before I gently brush it and the rest of my teeth. The reason it’s only getting a 4/5 for this specific product and not the full 5 is that I don’t notice any minor or significant change in whitening my teeth and I use it everyday, at least once if not twice.

I found this toothpaste after a sensitivity issue with whitening toothpaste from another brand. This toothpaste has whitening power just as effective as other brands, INSTANTLY relieved my sensitivity. I couldn’t believe how fast it worked. The taste and texture of the toothpaste are much better also than any other brand I’ve ever tried. Will repurchase this for life!

I’ve had sensitivity issues ever since having some dental work done several years ago, and this is the only toothpaste I can use that not only doesn’t cause pain but actually helps cure my sensitive teeth. It also leaves my mouth and breath feeling fresh and smelling good which some sensitive toothpastes don’t do. I will continue to purchase Sensodyne over and over as long as they continue to make it! (Which better be forever! Haha!)

Sensodyne Whitening Blanchissant is highly effective at reducing sensitivity while also brightening teeth. The taste is pleasant and mild, which makes it easy to use daily. The packaging is sleek and convenient to handle, and it offers great value for money considering its high-quality ingredients designed for sensitive teeth. Overall, it's a great toothpaste for both whitening and sensitivity relief!
I have been buying sensodyne toothpastes for about 12 years now, because it used to be the only toothpaste I could find without sodium laurel sulfate. I have been getting horrible canker sores my entire life and I found that using a toothpaste without "SLS" stopped it completely. Twice in the last year now, I've gotten horrible breakouts again and was shocked. I read the ingredients on the extra whitening sensodyne I had bought and they had added SLS to the formulation! (I'd been using that kind for a few years so I stopped checking the ingredients when purchasing.) It took almost a month for me to recover, and I could only have liquids.Well, I was in a hurry and accidentally bought this rapid relief stuff instead of the original sensodyne... It took almost a month for me to recover, and I could only have liquids.Well, I was in a hurry and accidentally bought this rapid relief stuff instead of the original sensodyne... I have sores all over my mouth and can barely talk. The pain is excruciating. I woke up with my face so swollen that it looks like I got a set of botched lip fillers. The underside of my tongue is swollen and covered in sores... I just want to cry. I had thrown away the box when I opened it and didn't even realize it was a different kind, and the tube doesn't list all the ingredients. What a freaking hassle to find out that this contains that horrid SLS. I am back on a liquid diet of soups and have no idea how long it will take me to recover this time. Moral of the story (if you get canker sores): ALWAYS take a moment to check the label first, just in case the formulation has changed. It could save you from weeks of misery.
Trying to get a decent toothpaste ata sensible price these days is hard work, so going for one that also promises a helping hand with sensitivity seemed like a good idea. Not sure just how effective it is really as I suspect that you need to use it for a protracted length of time, although I have noticed a mild decrease in the sensitivity of my teeth but nothing huge.As for the toothpaste itself, it's quite a thick consistency which is unusual and a very subtle flavour and not harsh at all. All in all a decent toothpaste which just needs more time to give a true evaluation
For the past several months, I've been experiencing moderate tooth sensitivity. I'm an aggressive tooth brusher (I want my teeth to feel *squeaky clean*), so I'm one of those folks that still uses a hard toothbrush and strong toothpaste. While this keeps my teeth in great condition, it has a tendency to wear on my teeth just around the gumline, exposing my dentin. Lately, any time I've run my tongue around my gums on my top teeth, let my teeth get dry, or eating anything excessively hot or cold, I've had painful twinges. On my last visit to my dentist, I asked what I could do about the sensitivity, and he recommended trying an enamel-strengthening toothpaste like Sensodyne. I'm about halfway through my first tube of Sensodyne Rapid Relief in Extra Fresh, and it seems to be working! I haven't had any twinges since I started using Sensodyne (and I just did a quick cold/hot temperature check), which I hope means that it's restoring my enamel. While there is a warning on the tube about staining due to stannous flouride, I have not experienced that issue, and I believe that the particular formula of Sensodyne was developed to avoid staining. So far, I have really only experienced one drawback - Sensodyne does not seem quite as strong (in terms of cleaning power/minty-ness) as I would prefer, but it works well enough. Overall, I would recommend Sensodyne rapid relief to anyone experiencing the same issue that I am. It's certainly nice to feel like I'm being proactive about my teeth!
Have been using this toothpaste for a couple of years and really love it. Started out using it for some super sensitive teeth that I had and it helped tremendously and then just kept using it as our regular toothpaste. It taste better than the store brand by far. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the price has gone up so much I don’t know if I can continue to buy it for an everyday toothpaste now.
