I required to restore the dull appearance to our caravan. Septone products seemed to be highly regarded through the different forums so went to BCF (as they are a stockist of the Septone product as well as many other brands) and they highly reccomended the Restorer & Wax as the best product for my purpose. Unfortunately after a small test section it did very little in removing any old film or putting any shine back into the caravans fibreglass. Yes the surface felt smoother but very little other than that. I applied a second application several days later with no noticeable improvement.This product was a fail for me.

I’ve tried many different polishes on the hull of our boat over the last 15 years. The Septone product is one of the easiest to apply by hand and buff off. While others can be difficult to use out in the weather, the Septone is great to use in cloud or full sun, unlike some others. About the only issue is that it doesn’t like dampness and goes a bit streaky, but all other polishes do that too. Our boat is 30 years old, yet the Septone product produces a shiny finish on the original gelcoat that lasts for a full 12 months in open air storage. I’d recommend this polish to anyone with an older boat that is polished by hand & looking for a long lasting shine.

I did prepare the surface of the top front of my motorhome, as recommended with Septone part 1as it was very dull and powdery. Worth doing I think as step 2 was easy to apply and the end result was good, I think.
Extremely brillant stuff. Used on my boat and car.The fiberglass came up fairly good for a 22 year old boat..I put some on hull marks but didn't rub it off before going in the water.When I came out most of the marks had gone.I used a scratch remover polish on my car.Which was ok.Then I used a turtle polish came up better.As my car has a few stone chips and it's been raining a lot.Thought I would give it a go on the white enamel try and stop rusting.WOW can up really shiny. For a 18 year old Cruiser.Plus the water just runs off.
Have used septone on boats and motor homes for many years and found it easy to use and good results. Ĺ
I have used this product for many years on my epoxy finished Ocean Surf Ski.If it's looking a little dull I polish it probably annually.I use the septone wash product wash once a month it is great also as a maintenance it also keeps the fine finish. My Boat is 4 years old and I am on the water 3 times a week it still looks new.
Used it on my fiberglass caravan it really get grid of grease and grim and now looks shinny and clean.
Works well and last well used to possibly fibreglass caravan and makes it easy to remove bugs etc when washing
A great way to restore fibreglass slides for kids if they have deteriorated and the colour comes off on clothing. K
