Fabric Softener often is origin of many dermatological conditions as noted by allergists/dermatological research. I use to use regular softeners but switched, over time chemicals add up in a household. Suffering from mysterious itching, burning or irritation of unknown origin I resolved to do research & eliminate things. Woven with what seems like 1 square sheet but perforated again to have even smaller sheet quarter sheet which does the job, less is more here. Complaints about not tearing clean/crisp is true because the sheets have stretch but it is no problem. Noticed Dust mites in the garage and some spiders stay away from that part of the counter so organically I love these.

This by no means is fragrance free for those who have fragrance sensitivities like I do. Not at all like the one I use to buy that were brown and kind of a stiff papery material. Those had no scent at all and worked really well too. They are now white (so I don't know if that means they're bleached) and feel just like regular fabric softener sheets and have a scent that irritated my sinuses like regular sheets do. Wondering if they discontinued the original. Gave it two stars because the clothes did come out really soft. Haven't worn any of those clothes yet so don't know if it will bother my skin like regular fabric softener sheets do since their is a fragrance of some kind. Will not buy again, not worth the price for me and not what I was expecting.

I’m trying to be a more ethical shopper and I hated the idea that my traditional laundry products contained animal products. As the science keeps coming in, we’re learning more about animal consciousness and the environment, so I can no longer continue supporting companies that hurt animals and or the environment. I know it’s probably impossible at this point to totally avoid it, but in the cases where my family and I can, I feel better supporting companies that share the same changed ideals as my family and me. I was worried about the quality and effectiveness of these sheets, but I was pleasantly surprised to find not only do they have a nice scent, but my laundry comes out just as soft and without static as though I was using the cruel, toxic, and wasteful brands.
