For what it is worth-"excellent in terms of upgrade".I was looking for an upgrade from 2x10 drivetrain to a 1x10 system. This cassette provided me exactly the opportunity and spare part required. The upgrade gave me a granny gear with 46T and now I can conquer the brutal climbs with much ease. The cassette quality is decent, though a tad softer for the trails that I indulge in. That is because, it is on lower side of Deore seriesi.e. M4100. I was looking for a cassette from series higher than M4100, and was ready to pay more than the 3500 chips, that I paid for this one. However, I could not find one, so settled for the M4100. This is a decent cassette for the price (3500INR) that it is available on Cyclop. A cassette from higher up series would have been more sturdier, even though more expensive. This M4100 cassette should be fine, if not subjected to too much torture, though I would still be at worry, because my biking is totally off road, consisting of rocks, pebbles and tree roots. With a bit of care, I hope that I will be able to manage it for some good time.Installation was fairly easy at home with a Icetoolz Shimano Cassette Lockring Tool purchased from Cyclop, and a 21mm spanner.WORDS OF CAUTION:- Adjustments were not that breeze though, and I ran into some issues. You would be needing a long cage derailleur (SGS from Shimano). Besides, you may have to either use a derailleur hanger extension or a B tension screw of at least 25mm (the 20mm did not work in my case, so that to swap it for a 25 mm one). Also, it is best if you get a new chain too. Continuing with old chain will give you problem, as the granny clog (46T) would be needing some more links than presently available on your existing chain. The shifting is top notch and precise. If it is not, check for hanger alignment.Over all an excellent cassette, if not perfect in terms of sturdiness....

I seem to go through cassettes as quick as chains - roughly 10 months or 1500 miles. All weathers, all year round, offroad on an eMTB. So it has a hard life. I've decided to pay for a "quality" Shimano cassette rather than an "unbranded" item. Let's see how long this one lasts.

Took bike & cassette to bike shop for install and they advised that not only would it not work with my 10 speed XO derailleur, but after research, it would not work with ANY other derailleur/drivetrain rendering the part TOTALLY useless. NOWHERE in the item description does it advise what drivetrains it would work with, only HG hub and chain. Attempted to return the cassette through return center and was issued a return number without paid shipping. Called the Cambria customer service line three times and got "Tim's" voice mail. Left a message and NEVER got a call back! Exceptionally poor customer service and professionalism. Tried to mail cassette back and cheapest rate was $21.70. This means I would have paid $28.70 for nothing on a $44.99 part to be returned that ... MoreTook bike & cassette to bike shop for install and they advised that not only would it not work with my 10 speed XO derailleur, but after research, it would not work with ANY other derailleur/drivetrain rendering the part TOTALLY useless. Apparently I am stuck with this non-functional part and Cambria doesn't care since they got my money.
My Haikbike trekking had done 3250 miles on the original chain and cassette. I didn't notice any wear but I was happy that the ebikeshop could recommend and supply the parts for a very prompt £4.99 delivery. The chain ring was not in stock, so I'll try to get that in the coming weeks. Swapping out the parts was easy. It turned out that the chain had stretched 1.5mm but considering the hills I'd been pushing up, I'm surprised it wasn't more.
Replaced a Microshift Advent-X cassette that had worn out. The price for the Deore cassette from Jenson was competitive but I had to give up a couple teeth on the big cog. No big deal there. Matched with a Microshift derailleur and Gevenelle brifter operating in friction mode on my gravel conversion. 1996 Marin Bear Valley, rigid MTB. Adjusted the cable barrel a tad and all gears shift flawlessly up and down. It's fun to ride again.
I have previously contacted via email and phone about my review of the wahoo cadence sensor but I will let you know again as you keep sending me surveys. The Garmin 130 plus showed battery low on cadence sensor after 3 hours operation. I replaced the battery with one I had here. It has lasted about 10 hours riding and now have a low battery warning on the Garmin. This battery shows 2.8v so it is flat. It was a battery I had for some time so may have been a bit low initially. I have bought a new 2023 battery which has a voltage of 3.3v. I will see how long this one lasts. If it fails in a short period, I will drop the wahoo in as faulty when I am next in south Melbourne . This is what I discussed with one of your team members who phoned me last Wednesday.
Bought this as a replacement for my 11-39 cassette as it was lacking low end gearing for steep technical climbs with a 34T up front. The massive 46T rear provides a useful crawler gear whilst the 11T at the other end ensures you are not spinning out downhill or on road sections. Be mindful that older derailleurs are not compatible with 46T cassettes as they catch the largest sprocket. This works fine with the Shimano RD 7010 - 10 SGS.
