of competitive and leisure riding I have never had a crankset fail. Two components that should never fail are handlebars and crank sets because the outcome can be horrific.
Shimano has already had a recall for an earlier composite crankset that had numerous failures that caused injury. My original crankset was just out of warranty. I am now
providing the Consumer Protection Agency with information that Shimano may not have adequately resolved the manufacturing issues of their composite crank...
