The Ocea Jigger series is the final reel for vertical techniques in waters around the world. I love this little jigging reel. Light, well made, and sturdy. I also bought the NR 2000, and the 3000 models. Keeping it in the family. All great reels. Shimano just keeps on improving. Went to the Florida keys and did a number on the snappers, groupers, and pelagic. Cant wait to Gino it again.
Great reel for slow pitch jigging. I loaded it with 600m of PE 2 ocea jigger ex8. Nice and smooth with good power.
Buy cheap and then you end up buying twice. Spend the first time on quality and you will not be dissapointed. Very smooth and very well built.
Very good customer service from ordering to delivery. got product in excellent condition and within a week from Japan. First use and caught an 13lb amber jack. Smooth operation, light weight and no problem handling the fish that day. Recommend JDM Tackle and this product.
Expected the world based on video's and previous reviews..........It's better. Stupid smooth, great drag, and I have the 1500HG, and made real quick work of large fish. Being a tad bit heavier than my Daiwa Lexa, it also helped balance out the rod better.
The ocea jigger f custom is a great slow pitch jigging reel. The fall lever can help get strikes on the way down. The gearing is powerful, and smooth. The drag has a built in clicker, so you can tell if the drag is slipping when you're jigging. The oversized T bar handle provides a good grip, and the auto spool engagement makes for a quick response. The spool lock is great for when you're hung on bottom, or in the pop'em or stop'em mode.
