I'm 50 and had countless reels throughout the years ranging from $20.00 to almost $300.00. It was only a few years ago when I saw the price on these Stellas and said to myself what nut job would spend $750.00 on a fishing reel. Well, I fell down the YouTube rabbit hole researching these reels to see what the hype was all about. Can there really be that much difference between reels costing $250.00 or $300.00 dollars? The short answer is YESS !This reel is truly amazing and words can't fully describe how smooth it is you just have to experience it. Most YouTube reviews describe it as "smooth as butt" but that doesn't give the amount of precession engineering in this reel enough justice. Compared to my Penn Spin fisher 4, Penn Slammer, Penn Torque, and Shimano ... MoreI'm 50 and had countless reels throughout the years ranging from $20.00 to almost $300.00. Compared to my Penn Spin fisher 4, Penn Slammer, Penn Torque, and Shimano Stradic (all smooth, very reliable, enjoyable, quality reels) this reel blows them away, and it should because of the price tag. If you lose your mind as I did and finally give into the temptation to treat yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Best reel I own. Cast and reels like a dream. Silky smooth drag.
The Stella reel is my new favorite spinning reel, so smooth and tough. Lightweight and effortless cranking. Sealed everywhere to keep everything smooth. Shiny space-age finish. At that price, I would expect the bar to be set very high, and this stella is definitely a next-level reel.
If you are thinking about it, just buy it, you won't regret it. Get the best reel and you don't need to think about other reels.
The Stella 2500 size is just as small if not smaller than my 6-year-old ultralight Shimano Stradic, and way smaller and lighter than my 2500 Penn Spin fisher.
Amazing!! Definitely changes your finishing experience. Be careful though, after using this reel you won’t want to use anything else!
This reel is 100% worth the hype! I can confidently say I have never encountered such a fine tuned machine. The quality is apparent with every turn of the handle, it leaves no doubt!! Discount Tackle had it at my doorstep in less than 24 hours!!!
This reel is incredibly quiet and smooth, which speaks to the upgrade in hardware and price, BUT it is worth every penny!
