Darin advised me of a Supplier in CO that could supply the Hanger and they had it!I have way more respect for that end of the Bike now!

Jenson USA had it in stock at a very fair price, and delivery time was exceptionally quick. Being right below the XTR, I realized the trickle down technology would not have to travel far! Can't go wrong with shimano XT rear mech. The only thing that disappoints me is went on a bike build for my son and not mine. Clutch engagement is on point and shifts super smooth. I'll be moving to shimano when my sram group set needs replacing
I would definitely recommend this product. This is my second XT derailleur that I have had to replace due to wear over the last 4 years. It was easy to install and adjust. The XT derailleur really checks all of the boxes. You can save a little weight with the XTR, but I have never really noticed a difference between the two, with the exception that XTR is a little more expensive, a little lighter, and a little more flashy.
In building a new bike I went for a 1x11 drive train. This derailleur was easy to install and adjust. I have ridden well over 1,000 km with it and it does quick and precise shifting. I found it easier to index that an 9-speed Shimano derailleur I have on another bike. I have not done any off-road riding so I can't comment on how well the clutch works. I am using it with a Shimano 11-42 cassette without issues.
This is a direct replacement for my mountain bike. It does the job and does it well. It is a no fuss deraileur and a workhorse in the shimano line up. The clutch mechanism works as designed until it needs servicing, but that service is pretty easy. As long as you maintain this and dont bash it too hard it wont fail you.
Have been riding with this derailleur for about a year and have nothing but positive things to say. Shifting is very responsive and smooth. I went with the long cage and have nothing but positive things to say. You can't beat this derailleur for the price point. I ride 3-4 days a week during the summer and besides typical service, have not had an issue.
Upgraded to a Sunrace 11x46T with 34T oval. Was running an RD-M786 SGS and shifting was good but not great. Installed the M8000 and shifting was much better but not as buttery as I would like. Smooth and quiet up to the 46 but a little Clunky outward to the 11. Decided to experiment with a Goatlink and Whoa! Greased lightening up and down the transmission. Not sure why the physics changed but this is how an MTB is supposed to shift. Performed flawlessly on the trail since I needed to confirm full suspension under load (260 lbs) didn't change the shifting performance. Especially on techy climbs where I frequently needed to switch between the the right granny and higher gearing . Happy Dance here...Happy trails all!
I went in knowing what to expect as this would be another XT derailer to install on another one of my bikes I was updating to 11 speed. Got a surprise when I got my derailer in the mail, as I received a free upgrade to a XTR. Which preforms the same at no added cost to me. Never ran anything more expensive than a XT because when you smoke one on a rock or during a crash, you wont cry...too bad about it. Derailer comes with a clutch, which I don't need to engage as I run a Carbocage chain guide system for the front chain ring. Haven't dropped a chain yet, broke a couple, but never derailed a chain up there. Item arrived out of the factory packaging, which does keep the cost down I am sure. But was well packaged for shipping.
