This was my first quality knife and worth the outlay as it is so comfortable and efficient to use, I now look forward to preparing food. This design with a curved down tip doesn’t allow a rocking motion when cutting but works for straight chopping and peeling small vegetables.

Great knife, very sharp. Perfect for peeling or chopping small vegetables. Great for fine work. Not quite what I was after but it will make a great fruit knife.

This is the knife I've been looking for my kitchen. A small knife with the properties of a chef's knife. Sharp, good feel and good control. Great looks too. 5 stars and two thumbs up.
Shun Classic Sheepsfoot Paring Knife 3-1/2" blade has no angle or curvature. The straight blade is much easier to control simplifying off the board cutting task.
They are brilliant knives .
Like all Shun knives, this one particularly sharp. It is very useful for cutting and peeling fruits and vegetables in the hand.
