Shun Kitchen Shears

These shears are super sharp. The handles fit naturally in my hand and they hve good leverge for cutting. They cut through chicken breast bones like butter. The feel is what you expect from $100 shears. I'd have to compare the feel of these shears with the feeling of when you close the door of a quality automobile. That solid feeling. I have owned shears from Henckels, Wustoff, Oxo and more over the years. They don't compare, and while these are expensive, I've spent as much on the multiple cheaper ones, only to throw them away when they don't work any longer. These shears will last a lifetime and more. Buy it for life.

Had the other shears by Shun until my dog chewed the handles up. Took it as a sign to upgrade to the more contoured ones, these are awesome. Incredibly sharp, cut through anything with ease and super easy to clean. These are on the “must have list” for every kitchen.

After I lost my original kitchen shears, I decided on the Shun kitchen shears based on the written reviews. So far, very disappointing. The shears only cut near the bottom 1/3 of the blades and barely cuts anything that goes beyond that point. Not worth the price. Luckily, I found my original shears that cuts anything you desire after years of use. The Shun shears will adorn my kitchen drawer but that is about all it is good for.
