I bought this caddy, because my daughter had one. Unfortunately, I had to return it. The builder of my home did not take caddies into consideration ... the shower head pipe was too short and the modular shower walls extended out a half inch further so the caddy could not sit flush with the wall. 🤨🤦🏽‍♀️Overall, [duh, it's Simplehuman 🤓] it's very well made and will last for YEARS. I could totally envision it supporting hair & body products. LOVED how the shelves were adjustable to accommodate taller products and how they incorporated holes to allow bottles to be turned upside down 🤯🤩.

The unit works great. The bottom shelf, which is not adjustable but fixed is not straight to the frame so it sits at an angle. Ideally Simplehumans quality control would have caught this before sending it out, but they didn't. Also the one we just bought is a replacement for the exact same model. The soap dish would not sit properly in the unit as one of the tabs that hold it in place broke. They offer replacement parts for every other element of the unit EXCEPT the soap dish. SH should offer a replacement part, soap dish.

I like many features of this caddy. The shelves adjustability and the amount it holds. Also the attachment to the shower head is good. What I don’t like Is the suction cups did not stick to my tile and I had to google and see if there was a solution. Nothing worked so I called the company and the person wasn’t very nice. They sent bigger suction cups and round sticky’s as a last resort. I had to remove a part to remove the suction cups and then the larger ones would not fit without shaving the stem and squeezing it tightly with pliers. A huge hassle for such a pricey caddy. Finally the metal on the caddy stains from the water and is hard to clean. Not sure how it will look in 6 months.

This shower caddy is almost perfect, albeit for one minor thing.It has room to accommodate all your showering needs (shampoos, soaps, body washes, loofah, etc.). The adjustable height allows you to set your own needs.The only flaw, but I understand it with the weight of the caddy, is the screw to attach it to the showerhead. Every time I need to clean behind the caddy or the caddy itself, I need to get a screwdriver to remove the screw.
This is well built. I love being able to move and adjust the shelves. I do wish there was another hook or two to hang wash scrubbies. I had to order some hooks that I think I’ll be able to attach to make this fully functional for our family. Other than not having enough hooks- I felt this product was really expensive. I wouldn’t buy it unless it was on sale .
I took measurements of the space we had, and I purchased the XL. Unfortunately, the shower controls were more difficult to work around than I had planned. We returned the XL and bought the L. This is really an unbelievable caddy. With both vertical and horizontal adjustments, we were able to make a configuration that fit in our space, missing all the knobs. It's also large enough to fit all of our stuff, and keep everything off ledges and floors. Simplehuman comes through again.
With a shower arm installed at the code height of 7 feet and yours is 5' 6 it's often difficult to comfortably reach the stuff needed for a shower, much less a shower head. There exists no spacing or dimensional standardization in shower caddies marketed these days. I lucked out with my previous one where everything was in easy reach. It had convenient hooks for the various items I like to have handy when showering. With time and patience one tends to learn and adapt which shelf certain containers will fit best on. I only wished it were a little lower, closer to the shower valve. And if there was a different way to compensate for heavier containers. Or taller ones. Or if it had a spot where I could mount something upside down. Seems like it will last unlike most junk that just falls apart. Ordered a slide out garbage/recycling bin too. Looking forward to optimizing the space under our kitchen sink.
