Singer Fashion Mate 3337 Sewing Machine

HiAfter taking up the challenge to see wash bag scrubs for NHS and googling what was required on dimensions and how to make the bags I was captured by the new all singing all dancing sewing machines. My one was about as old as me, so 60+old.At first landed on Singer site and many options to choose from, better still a sale was on. I was hooked. I could just about run up a pair of curtains.It’s still early days of discovery but I’m loving it.

I bout the model 3337 for my girlfriend and the first time putting a bobbin on the vertical spool pin the horizontal arm snapped completely off. I inspected the arm to see it was clean break as in defective plastic material from the factory. I call a warranty repair store out of Florence South Carolina and the lady was extremely helpful by pointing out the vertical spool arm accessory. I did ask out a replacement horizontal spool arm and she stated that she didn’t think that part was covered under warranty. This was a brand new machine right out of the box and my thoughts were I will give it a second thought about buying another singer again. Sad because singer use to be quality once many moons ago and now made from cheep Chinese plastic materials

I love my new machine and it’s so easy to use. I can go into my sewing room for a few minutes to sew something quickly or spend a whole day in there when doing a project.I’m currently making my 2 granddaughters a dress each and become totally absorbed. My new machine is smaller and lighter than my previous Singer but is just as versatile with many different stitches. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
