I now have the anger heavy duty overlocker and machine. Both are excellent. The overlocker is easy to thread but it’s so different from my old huskylock that I used YouTube for reference as the instructions provided were useless. Would recommend this machine

Can’t really fault it. It’s a great little machine and I’m sure once I get to grips with it it will be amazing - Tricky to thread if you don’t know what you’re doing. Had to watch a few you tube videos to see how to thread also what / how to is it. I’m still quite new to sewing and never used a Overlocker before. Found it daunting at first. Biggest downfall for me is no instructions manual included. Yes it can be accessed online but personally I like it in paper form to refer back to when needed. Overall I’m really happy with it :)

I have bought 2 machines in the last six months. Both machines ( Heavy Duty 6705C Computerised and 14HD854 Heavy Duty Overlocker) work really well and they both are well worth the money. Will definitely recommend these.

Still have some areas to learn as this is my first overlocker. Threaded easily and works really smoothly. So far, very pleased.
Having always been a machinist I always worked with industrial machines. When I had to dispose of them I purchased a regular sewing machine but was never confident of it going through many thickness of fabric which I needed it to do ! So at last I now have a new trusted heavy duty sewing machine and heavy duty overlocker that is ex display. I am delighted with it’s condition, you would never know it had been used for display purposes.
I was excited to get using my first overlocker but had to wait and order spools because even though the machine had been threaded with coloured threads they were cut, tied off and no spools supplied. Other reviewers definately had the spools of cotton supplied.
This machine is so smooth, easy to set up, love the fact that it has the little basket attached and that it has suction pads on the botton of the machine. Its the little things that make it stand above the others
Should I have received a Free luxury overlocker bag? I didn’t I got a pack of £4.50 needles! As regards the machine it was in stock when I ordered and it was delivered 2 days later, very good. I’ve had this model machine before but not the heavy duty, it was purchased from a supermarket and was great for 18 months or so then just seemed problematic. I’m thinking the heavy duty will be better made. It’s been great so far ..........
Must be 25 years since I have used an overlocker, I was very apprehensive about buying one. I have to say Singer made the purchase easy, when the overlocker came I was again a bit apprehensive about using it, I needn't have been, it's a dream, I am so happy with it. I have even rethreaded it without any stress, ha ha it was very easy and colour coded so you couldn't go wrong. I can highly recommend this product, you won't be disappointed it's an amazing machine.
Ones you have all the threads in the correct position, and you have learned how things work, the machine does perform as expected and is fantastic. We are very happy with the purchase of this Singer Heavy Duty overlock machine.
