First of all, I absolutely hate gu's. I hate the texture, and can't stand chewing and trying to swallow them during my long runs. Then I was introduced to SIS's isotonic gels. GAME CHANGER! The texture is like melted jello. So easy to take down before or during a long run. And no water is needed! I particularly love the lemon mint flavor because there are extra electrolytes. Plus it tastes like Sprite! The flavor is very neutral and not overpowering like other types of fuel I've tried. It gave me the fuel I needed and it didn't give me any nausea or indigestion. I also really love the flavors with caffeine which gave me that extra boost during my longest runs.

Shared it halfway through a hike and definitely felt a boost in mood and energy! I think having a full one will be really noticeable and I definitely plan to keep one on my for every hike. Some gels are really thick and gross when they get warm but this one was really easy and was easy to eat

Tried these before so knew what I was getting. Both flavours are pretty good in their own way. Raspberry is very palatable and the lemon and mint is refreshing on a hot day. The added electrolytes are a welcome boost during a run. Knocked a star off as it can be a fiddle to open while running

I hadn’t tried this brand for awhile so decided to try some of the newer flavours. The positives are that they are a good liquid gel so easy to consume and the flavours were ok on the pallet. No issues on the tummy. There isn’t any real negatives as such, except there are other liquid type gels that I would prefer so they would of have to be extra fab to sway me to buy more.
I've been using these in my trail marathon training. Easy to consume and not had any gut problems at all - and I'm having about 6 per training session on longer runs. Great as they have the electrolytes also so less to carry
Very happy with the SiS gels. Personally find they sit well and are a good consistency not requiring water to take which is a real bonus. Flavour wise I got the Vanilla for the first time after trying some of the traditional flavours previously and was impressed. The SiS gels due to their consistency are also quite hydrating, great on warmer days. The only negative aspect is due to the more liquid texture they are on the bulkier side of gels but fit perfectly fine in shorts/belts I have. Highly recommend for people looking to start using gels.
I like to have one electrolyte gel with me on longer runs and these are pretty much my favourite.I prefer the raspberry one but the lemon and mint one is also fine. You can probably get better tasting gels but these are the best I've tried with added electrolytes.
I've been using these gels for years and they continue to be a favourite. Not the cheapest on the market but certainly very high quality and history of continuous improvement from SIS. Fuelld were super helpful and very quick to get them out the door and on the road to me, great service 👍
Different consistency (much thinner) than usual for Sis gels. I love raspberry flavour in general but this is a bit odd. I'd give it 5 stars but still not 100% convinced of the impact of the electrolytes. Difficult to work out the quantities and compare with other products
I am really pleased with this gel. The texture is the best out of all the gels I've tried recently and it gave me a good energy boost. It was 28°c on my run so it was great to have a gel which slid down easily and refreshed me a bit at the same time.I still took this with some water because it was so hot.The only negative is that I had a small stitch for the next half a kilometer. I don't know if this is due to the gel, or the fact I took water with it-or if that was just co-incidence.I'll have to test some more to find out.But overall I'm really happy with this gel. I had the fruit salad flavour which was nice. Looking forward to trying the other flavours now.
