SKIN1004 - Madagascar Centella Ampoule - 100ml

I have dry sensitive skin but as warmer weather approaches I get an oily T-Zone plus I do have some hormonal acne. I also have a medicall condition that makes my face flush red so I'm always looking for ingredients to calm the redness. I spent a lot of time reading reviews on specific ingredients to see if they were actually helping people or not. I typically will buy a serum over a cream because I find serums work better on my skin. This brand was recommended to me by a friend. I have to say that I do love the packaging. It feels so luxurious. The pipette is great because it has a little bit of a curve at the end to ensure you get all of the product out. The first time I used this product, I felt immediate relief from the redness in my face and it's is extremely moisturizing. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I've noticed that my acne is healing without leaving any marks. My skin is flushing less and my makeup looks better. I did buy this on Amazon and the price point is about $15. So if you struggle with mature skin and using regular acne products, I highly recommend this brand. Massage it for 30-45 secs on your acne spots. If you are just starting new, USE ALITTLE like pea sized, your face is gonna peel itself since its the first time your using it but its gonna be fine afterwards ( put moisturizer after)Luxe Organic cica gel- good for base makeup, and daily moisturizer. Irritated my skin

I should start this by saying that I have sensitive acne prone skin and that my main skin concern, at the moment, is post inflammatory erythema (PIE). I started retinol a few months ago, and since then, I don't have many breakouts, just one or two pimples around that time of the month. The thing is, the pimples I get are always very red, which leaves me with those annoying marks.I've been looking for a product that could calm down my skin a little and lessen the inflammation. I've heard lots of good things about this product, coming from people with the same skin issues as me, so I thought I'd try it out. After a whole day, I didn't feel any stinging or see any redness on the areas I applied the product on, so I thought I was safe. After two days, my skin was a MESS!!! I'll add photos of the left and right side on my skin, before and after using this product. As you can see on the before pictures, I didnt have any active pimples, at the time.Let me tell you, when I looked at the mirror, the second day of using this product, I was heartbroken, especially cause my skin was doing so well and suddenly turned out like that. I really wanted to like this product, the texture and consistency are really nice, but this product is obviously not for me. With this, I'm not saying that the product is bad, I might just be sensitive to the ingredients, but I wanted to write this review to alert others with same skin issues as me. If you have sensitive acne prone skin and have never tried out centella based products before, I'd stay away from this product (or just get a sample, if they're available). If you end up trying it out, stay alert and monitor your skin!!After noticing the state of my skin, I immediately cut the product out of my routine and the irritating went down after 2-3 days. Sadly, I was left with some more marks, from the spots that were visibly more irritated.
