I purchased a Skull Shaver for my husband when he decided to go bald years ago. He absolutely loved it. He recently broke the head. The replacement head works perfectly making his Skull Shaver like new! For Father's Day I also purchased the holder and travel case. Both makes usage very convenient! He didn't have the case, that's how it broke, so highly recommended! Thanks so much!!!

I bought a Baron 3 & 4 blade and a Carver 4 blade to test along with the Forte that came with my Diamond kit.As advertised, the Carver is perfect for coarse hair.I am a big, bald, 235lb man with thick beard hair and thick, coarse hair on my head.The Forte is pretty good. The Baron takes a long time. The Carver eats through my coarse hair way better. This blade may be the least expensive, but it really works as advertised. The Carver gives a very close shave much faster than the other two blades if your hair is coarse.

This is a pretty decent replacement shaver head. This is my third for the Pit Bull pro palm/head shaver. I have medium/thick hair. (where it wants to grow, at least) I shave twice a week. Sometimes waiting 5 days between shaves. This head has lasted about 8 months at a time without any oiling. Just me rinsing the unit out each time. I’ll probably continue to buy it until something else better comes along. But, in the meantime. This is the best I’ve found. I hope this review helps someone make a decision.

Personally, I’m glad that the forte pro4 are back in stock (it took some time to get those back in stock cause of the delays by COVID-19)Because it was out of stock for some time, I had purchased the forte pro 3 (3 shave heads) but that didn’t really do it for me cause personally I think the handle of the forte pro 3 is slightly to small for my hands….Now that the forte pro 4 is back in stock, I decided to purchase 2 of them at once since I used my last one for almost 9 months!!! (I brush off every time I used my shaver and once a week I rinse it with the container)The forte pro 4 is excellent and really it takes me under 3 minutes to perfectly shave my head completely bald!As a side note; the customer service is excellent! Despite all reports from friends, I was slightly sceptical about just hoe "close" this blade head would get, dry. STRIPES!! Having previously and laboriously "clipped" to about 2 to 2.5 mm, I am amazed at how close this thing gets - well bloody close is all I can say - my head is FREEZING (UK winter & temp dropped to 0C).So super close, super quick head shaves with no soreness and no beggering about photographing the back of my head checking for tufts. Why didn't I come sooner??
Much improved performance (gets far more hairs with each pass and popwers through three-day growth) on the original five blade style, including the new snap off and rinse clean. A word of caution for those looking to invest - despite all the hype of these electric head shavers, saying they provide a smooth shave, while close and fast and without any mess, they are absolutely not as smooth as a blade. But of the head shavers on the market this blade is amongst the closest and best.
The Carver blade works great and perfect for my hair type. The only issue I have is you don't get to pick the blades that work for your hair type when purchasing the Pitbull shaver. I purchased the Pitbull Gold Pro shaver but it came with the Forte blades so I was forced to purchase the Carver blades separately incuring an unduly charge because I have coarse hair. Now I'm sitting with an extra blade head that I will not use. To me I see that as a form of decrimination. You should nake it where the purchaser pick the blade according to its use, I would of then ordered an extra Carver blade because they work so good. So to sum it up I give the Pitbull shaver a 5 out of 10 due to it's lack of empathy for its customers diversity.

I like the SS because unlike a razor, I can use it everyday or every other day. When using just a razor, I have to wait at least two days or I get razor burn. Leaving four stars instead of five only because they advertise, "it's as smooth as a razor"..... which isn't true. That said, I still really like the product. My process is using the SS first, then I follow it up with a razor to my entire head afterwards. This way I don't get any burn, and I can shave every/every other day if I want. I've been using Forte PRO for quite a while now and I pleased to have found such a good product that allow me to keep my skull clean and neat. I used another cheaper options in the past, but they were not as good as Forte Pro and I had to buy the whole thing (blade + motor) every 3/4 months. With this one I can actually use the old blade to shave other part of my body as they actually still work, just not as good as I want them to work on my head. If you use it with dry skin it will last one extra month. In my case after 4 months, they blades get a little bit lazy, so I rather change it an gain time every morning.
Started with this head, then thought the 5 would be even better. Tried the Carver 5 but it worked horribly and you can't open it to clean. Came back to the Carver 4 (which they say is best for coarse hair) and it's truly the best. Shaves quickly with very few hairs missed (edges, ears, back of head are difficult on your own). 100% recommend for thick/coarse hair, even with sensitive skin.
