This is my first pair of headphones. I read rly good reviews but tbh when i first tried them on, I was already sad bc the sound isnt as crisp as I would like, or crisp at all tbh. its very lowkey muddy bc of the bass which is decent too, theres bass there but not a crazy amount. if youre looking for headphones with a lot of bass do not get these, my tiny JLAB earbuds give me more bass than these. However, the noise cancelling was very surprising (they have to be turned on tho!) like even wearing them without listening to music does cancel out a lot of sound and I think that on its own overrides the cons on these headphones! Bc now I can sit in the car with my loud siblings and peacefully listen to my music without interruption so no complaints! (btw outside people ... MoreThis is my first pair of headphones. I keep debating returninf these bc i like my music crisp and clear and perfect but the noise canceling is soo convenient so i think imma stick with these. also, theyre VERY lightweight like i dont even feel them on my head which makes them comfortable to wear, but theyre not the most durable (if youre the type to drop your stuff be wary) im scared of dropping them and breaking them, im such a klutz it feels inevitable lol but i got these for $95 id say its worth the money. I would NOT pay over 100 for these. overall 7.5/10 rating for these, wouldnt be at my top recommended unless you rly want good noise cancelling above all else

I graduated from my Venue set which I absolutely adored and was around the same price when I bought it 3 years ago. And yes I still really need to get used to them but at the moment, the Hesh feel as though they have less thought put into them. The primary flaw is their lack of Multi Point Pairing, meaning switching from phone to laptop just takes that extra few seconds normally which I've gotten used to being instant. It's hand feel also just feels worse in my hands than the venue did. The edges are almost sharp and the hinges look as though they could easily break with some use.The audio is in no means bad, I definitely need to get used to it as it's a bit different, more flat than the Venue's (I did look for ANC over bass of course so I'm not offended by this ... MoreI graduated from my Venue set which I absolutely adored and was around the same price when I bought it 3 years ago. Complete side note but worth a mention, the voice you hear in the headset doesn't sound as welcoming as the Venue's did, a bit too robotic for me.I in no means hate the headphones, and think Skullcandy as a brand is nice. But fair warning that if you're coming from the Venue's, it's not the most welcome shift. Thanks for your time!

One word WOW Ok I lied! Its not possible to leave it just there! These fit so well and are so so comfy, the padding around your ears is so soft it encapsulates your ears, they is the same above your head on the band so you dont even feel its there!. Sound quality is amazing and so noticeable, not tiny or echoing. Its immersive as if youre there live. The sound cancellation is also pretty dam good too I have two young screening shouting boys having fun of course, I place these bad boys on and puff..theyre gone! The battery life is so great they last like forever! I watch movies, tv and listen to music like for hours and hours and I only have to charge them (fast charge) once a week or even longer! First things first these headphones are actually really nice. At first I didnât think they had ANC until I put on some background noise and it blocked out 80% of noise, play a little music and you canât hear a thing. But there are a few things that have me concerned and is the reason why I rated it a 3/5 stars instead of the 5/5.1) The packaging, while I was looking at reviews the box seemed completely different, itâs wider while this packaging is more of a square (but that could to be reducing waste so I wouldnât consider a major factor of doubt). The headphones are also folded in rather than laid out like in review videos but again this is probably the reading for a smaller box.2) This is the reason why Iâm more concerned of authenticity, there was a 3.5 mm ... MoreFirst things first these headphones are actually really nice. The headphones are also folded in rather than laid out like in review videos but again this is probably the reading for a smaller box.2) This is the reason why Iâm more concerned of authenticity, there was a 3.5 mm cable and a usb C charger, but the charger for the usb c is literally 3 or 4 inches long, it barely reaches anything. But seeing so many unboxing and images it usually is around a foot long while this one is not even close. So if you donât have a different USB C charger get one because this one is definitely not long enough and will have your headphones hanging. The 3.5 mm jack is actually a really nice length, looks around 2 1/2 feet long.Another reason is the little carrying pouch for the headphones is different from many others, the one it came with is very minimal and offers almost 0 protection. I heard it would have little pouches inside where you can put your cables in so you donât scratch your headphones, but this pouch does not have this. So if something even remotely sharp were to touch the pouch your headphones will most likely get scratched.Overall though the headphones themselves are really nice, really love the audio quality and the ANC just smudge really easily. But the accessories that come with the packaging do concern me and feel like there was definitely some cutbacks.
I have tried and reviewed several noise cancelling headphones ever since they were invented. I would tell you if these sucked. Trust me. They are AWESOME.Highlights:⢠Comfyâthey stay on your head and they are lightweight⢠SoundâGreat sound very high qualityâvery loud if thatâs what you wantâremember if you want higher volume make sure you do 2 things: 1. Turn up the volume on the actual headset AND whatever device they are paired too. 2. Download a volume increaser app (thereâs plenty of them availableâfree too) they really help if you want some louder sound.⢠Noise Cancellingâdonât listen to some reviews on here bashing the noise cancelling on these. First of all there is NO 100% noise eliminating headphonesânot even the ones baggage handlers use to muffle jet noise reduce ALL sound. Your ears wonât allow for that. Youâre gonna hear your own voice---HOWEVER, these and other decent noise cancelling headphones do their magic when you have audio coming through the speakersâŚthatâs what theyâre designed for. This notion that the noise cancelling is supposed to HUSH the outside world from your ears when nothing is coming through the speakers is garbage. Itâs quieter when you have the ANC and nothing playing through the speakers, yes. BUT if eliminating MOST noise while nothing is playing thru the speakers then buy some safety ear muffsâAmazon sells plenty and I have a pair. THE NOISE CANCELLING ON THESE WORKS AND WORKS WELL. PERIOD. )Do yourself a favor if you're on the fence, BUY THESE! YOU WON'T BE SORRY. IâVE HAD AND REVIEWED BAD NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES BEFORE. THESE ARE NOT THAT. THESE ARE REALLY GOOD.
I was so excited when I saw these headphones, because I have never been able to use earbuds, they are the most uncomfortable things ever! But I have wanted some for years! I am a child of the 80âs and spent my youth listening to my Walkman and I loved it! So when I got these I was so excited and I was expecting the same level of enjoyment with the added bonus of convenience and mobility that comes with the wireless aspect. But I was not prepared for what I experienced when I listened to the first songâŚWOW! It was literally like being in a room, listening to my favorite songs with concert quality sound, at the volume of my choice and no complaints from anyone! I love it!! I also listen to audiobooks and podcasts which always get complaints from my children so these are a big hit with them too! Iâm not very âtechyâand they were so simple to set up and operate~it took literally minutes! And the noise canceling~thatâs so crazy it really does cancel all the noise around you! WONDERFUL!! I will stunned! Theyâve come in so handy on car trips, my daughter can watch movies or listen to music of her choice all the way to Grandmaâs and I can jam out to my audiobooksâŚand everybodyâs happy! I was also impressed by how long I could go between charges, I read that the charge lasts 22 hours, but I was shocked when my daughter listened to them all the way to my momâs house, three hours away, some while we were there, we stayed there for five days and then for three hour trip home. No device I own has the battery power this does! And on the next use I just plugged them in for 10 minutes to be safe because I was going for a walk and it was charged for the afternoon without a problem. Another extremely cool feature of these headphones is they can be tracked with an App, so even if they are burrowed and accidentally left somewhere by my childrenâŚI am able to easily track them down!! I canât say enough good things about these headphones! I am so happy that I got them! They also fold down very small and come with the handy little case. I finally am able to enjoy the peace and convenience of earbuds without the discomfort and with sound that rivals the best of speakers!!
The sound quality is excellent. I bought these to use at the gym so I could choose the music that matched my workouts. They fit nicely and are adjustable. They stay on my head while I work hard on the treadmill, bikes, free weights. I can pair it with my phone, laptop and tablet. As a bonus, I used it on a long haul flight. The noise cancelling feature allowed me to sleep on the plane. I also found use for it at the piano keyboard. I can hear music nuances better with these than earbuds, and it helps to shut out ambient room noises like the refrigerator, HVAC, and road noises outside. The Skullcandy Hesh ANC headphones are honestly the best bang for your buck under $100. No bells and whistles, but they exceeded my expectations for the price!Sound - 4/5You won't feel like youâre front of the pit at a Metallica concert, but it sounds pretty darn good for $80 (on sale). I have no complaints. I tested them with music from rock to lofi, and I honestly really enjoy the signature Skullcandy sound. Is it as good as Bose or Sony? Probably not, but I'd say these are great midtier headphones that'll sound better than any in ear earbuds will ever sound. No earth shaking bass, but thatâs not important to me anyways.ANC - 4/5Works very well! Only points off are for the artificial white noise sort of sound it makes in quieter environments. It's not obnoxious, but it may be annoying if you need ANC for light noises (fridge buzzing, clock ticking, traffic outside a window, ect.)Build - 4.5/5Nothing fancy, but these are the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. The memory foam makes headphone wearing very comfortable, and the fit is very nice. The fit may be an issue for you if you have a larger head. They're easily collapsible and can probably fit in any hard-shell headphone case that you may have. As someone who has sensory issues, I'm impressed. If you want ANC headphones that aren't too extra (more things to break) then these should be PERFECT for you. Good job Skullcandy, you've got a new fan!
The sealing on the right muff's slowly peeling away. It's hanging by a thread at the time of writing this. This is the third (and last) pair of Skullcandy headphones I've purchased that are yet again, drenched in plan obsolescence. They're still under warranty, but I can't get anything filled because a widget can't be bothered to appear on the bottom right of their page, so I'm forced to give them a call, likely for them to tell me to do what I'm already trying to do to get the ball rolling. The quality has really gone down with these headphones. The noise cancelling was fine, but there's very little bass to enjoy. The pair I had previously were much better in comparison, but due to faulty wiring, they had to be retired.
