As much as I normally don't like brand loyalty I'm a fairly loyal Skullcandy consumer partially because of the convenience of narrowing to one brand when I'm looking for headphones and the quality I always get when I buy their products.This is the third pair of headphones I've bought from them and thus far all of them have been great. I have been looking for headphones that allowed me to listen to the outside while having them on. These fit perfect for the job. The ambient mode is very easy to turn on and I can hear just as clear if I had the headphones off. And ambient mode allows you to play music all the while, which is great for work or family gatherings when audio processing disorder comes into play. The noise cancelling is nice too, outside noise is pretty much non-existent unless you are walking next to 20 cars flying down a road. Battery lasts forever too. I've had many skullcandy true wireless earbuds that last maybe 4 hours at most. These bad boys last the guaranteed 20 hours of playtime. I've gone to sleep with them on several times now and they last the entire night. Final issue is the color of the product. I had bought the white thinking the cushions looked like a Rose-Gold matte. I don't own anything Rose-Gold, but I thought it would look nice. The cushions, however, are a tan if anything and much darker too. The color part is just a personal issue though, so don't take it as a reason not to but it unless you *really* are looking for Rose-Gold colored Noise Cancelling and Ambient mode Headphones.

Got the headphones few weeks ago. I haven’t stopped using them. I paired them to my tv allowing me via Bluetooth to listen to the tv without the tv volume being up. And if you turn on the active noise cancelling mode you can’t hear what is going on outside the headphones great if you have a car that’s always meowing or kids screaming. I also used the cable provided with the headphone to plug the headphones into my iPod classic and other mp3 players, great when in bed. I like the voice assistant telling you when the device is on or off etc. the headphones fit my big head and ears great. They charge fast with the cable provided but you will need a sub c plus type used on mobile phones you also get a little bag to put the canes in. Great in garden of noise of traffic etc disturbs you.

After looking this up online, this seems to be a very very frequent issue among customers with these headphones. They were not heavily used at all, and I am a very careful owner of electronics. Considering I have a newer generation of iPhone, this renders the headphones essentially useless unless I use the bulky cord and an adapter. It seems like this is covered under the warranty, but I have to pay out of my own pocket to send back a faulty product through the postal service which is absurd. Even beyond the ultimate complete breaking of the bluetooth functionality, it had issues pairing beforehand. At first I didn’t think they had ANC until I put on some background noise and it blocked out 80% of noise, play a little music and you can’t hear a thing.But there are a few things that have me concerned and is the reason why I rated it a 3/5 stars instead of the 5/5.1) The packaging, while I was looking at reviews the box seemed completely different, it’s wider while this packaging is more of a square (but that could to be reducing waste so I wouldn’t consider a major factor of doubt). The headphones are also folded in rather than laid out like in review videos but again this is probably the reading for a smaller box.2) This is the reason why I’m more concerned of authenticity, there was a 3.5 mm cable and a usb C charger, but the charger for the usb c is literally 3 or 4 inches long, it barely reaches anything. But seeing so many unboxing and images it usually is around a foot long while this one is not even close. So if you don’t have a different USB C charger get one because this one is definitely not long enough and will have your headphones hanging. The 3.5 mm jack is actually a really nice length, looks around 2 1/2 feet long.Another reason is the little carrying pouch for the headphones is different from many others, the one it came with is very minimal and offers almost 0 protection. I heard it would have little pouches inside where you can put your cables in so you don’t scratch your headphones, but this pouch does not have this. So if something even remotely sharp were to touch the pouch your headphones will most likely get scratched.Overall though the headphones themselves are really nice, really love the audio quality and the ANC just smudge really easily. But the accessories that come with the packaging do concern me and feel like there was definitely some cutbacks.

I guess that's good?My biggest gripe is the white noise you constantly get when not listening to anything. I can't STAND white noise. It mimics wind blowing into your ear. No mention on the packaging or advertising that they are essentially bass-boosting music and audio with no apparent way to turn the feature off. Everything sounds so different (in a bad way) through these I’m ready to return them if I haven’t waited too long already.The vocals, piano and saxophones for example are so pushed back in the sound stage that most songs lack any kick. My favorite songs no longer capture my interest and my mind wanders because these headphones make it all sound boring. I'm so frustrated with this brand. I brought a Skullcandy Crusher ANC Personalized Noise Canceling Wireless Headphone - Black through the Amazon. I bought the guarantee for this headset as well. So, the heads started to peeling. So I called the guarantee company to solve the problem. The guarantee company said that my headset still guaranteed under the headset's Brand company. So I called Skullcandy to try replace my headset. They said my headset isn't available anymore and I need to wait for restocking.
