Bought these to replace my hesh 3s as they still worked but the plastic holding the speakers to the frame snapped after about 3 years of almost daily use. This is annoying when trying to turn up on the headphones because it's probably 1 of the least used buttons once you have it paired to your devices. I always automatically go to the top button & then realize it's actually the next button down.

These seem like the most refined version of the hesh series. With the added reinforcement on the size adjustment. The ability to turn the speakers in both directions and the new tech inside. Although there are still a few annoyances such as the pairing button which is great to have now but bad positioning. It needs to be at the bottom when I wanna skip a song or up my volume I always hit it when I have gloves on or even normally my hand is so used to going as far up as I can on the buttons. It rarely gets used so it should be out of the way. The new buttons are great tho the 3 you had to dig your nail into the power button to use it. The low battery warning could come a bit later it will keep reminding me an hour before they go dead meaning they got plenty left but ... MoreThese seem like the most refined version of the hesh series. And then for some reason they take up to 30s or more to turn on at random times I’ll be holding the button thinking they’re dead or something.

I'm comparing these to the Soundcore Q30. Let's start with the bad, 24 hours of battery life with noise cancelling on isn't the best for $130. The button controls are a little bit unusual and you can only toggle the ANC off/on. That's where the bad ends. You get great noise cancellation for most noises and the sound is great. It's a little bit bass heavy but the sound is good overall. Very sharp and rich. The headphones are light, very comfortable on your ear, fit big heads superbly and are well made. You get a nice travel bag, plus charging and 3.5mm cables. I think this is a winner around $120. The only thing I'd change is to extend the battery life and add more options of noise cancellation. 4.7/5

I've had experience using Skullcandy earbuds, but I haven't invested in a good pair of headphones before. These headphones are great for starters like me! The headphones check all the features that Bluetooth earbuds have: easy pairing/connection, simple buttons, and nice audio. The cushioning is soft, and I'm happy that the headphones include an audio jack. Also, the sides are adjustable so those with larger head sizes don't need to worry. The main setback is that these headphones do not come with a case. Considering it being made of a hard plastic and it's ability to fold inward, the headphones have to be treated with some caution. For instance, I have to put mine in a small bag and out of the way to make sure others do not move it carelessly. Another con is that ... MoreI've had experience using Skullcandy earbuds, but I haven't invested in a good pair of headphones before. These headphones are great for starters like me! These are really some great easy to use and set up headphones. I’m not as tech savvy but these were very easy to navigate. The instruction card also comes loaded with information. There are steps 1-3 on the card. The first step says to press and hold the pairing button for one second. The only issue is that the first step should say to power on. I did as the card stated by pressing and holding the pairing button but that did not work. It wasn’t until I powered it on first and then started going through the steps 1-3 that it was able to be paired so that I could use it. The steps are really easy though and I was surprised to see how fast it paired with my phone. There’s also a guide for button controls so you know what each button does so that you can navigate ... MoreThese are really some great easy to use and set up headphones. There’s also a guide for button controls so you know what each button does so that you can navigate through your music. The button to power off says to hold it for two seconds versus one second, which turns it on. I wish that it told you which color it would flash so that you know whether you’ve truly powered it off. There’s an easy way around that though because I just checked my phone to make sure it was truly powered off and no longer connected, and it worked. When the headphones are on your ears it fits so snug and cushiony around your ear like a pillow. It’s extremely comfortable and easy to use. The sound quality is also amazing because you can hear the music but it’s not blasting in your ear drum either so it almost feels as if the sound is just in the room like a natural sound. I could still talk to my child and hear him with the headphones on too, so overall it’s just such an amazing natural feel to listen to music. I would really recommend these! My husband also loves these too and he’s very tech savvy and picky about what he uses.
Purchased 1 month ago. Only ever use indoors, never dropped, never gotten wet, always stored and charged properly. Only have used 7 times. They were great 4 times. Without any outward reason why they now sound like your swimming around under water and I have to have my device turned up 100% to hear them at all, have tried my hesh evo headphones with two other devices , and I have cross tested those devices with two separate Bluetooth speakers I have - everything but the hesh evo headphones connect flawlessly and sound perfect. Both speakers were not an issue with my phone or my tablet and laptop, the only issue was the Skullcandy hesh evo headphones. Both speakers were not an issue with my phone or my tablet and laptop, the only issue was the Skullcandy hesh evo headphones. Across all devices they were the same, devices only 2-4 feet separation non-existent volume and connectivity issues (or spotty or the headphones just failed I'm not sure because I can barely hear the output). Here's the worst part and the most glaring problem with this tho, this is the second pair. Exact same issue. They sit in a case when not being used, I listen to YouTube videos and put them back in the case when not in use. Always follow correct charging and operating instructions and this is the second pair that has done this....I have always recommended skull candy to anyone discussing headphones as they have always been a budget friendly option that still produces good low end and I have been buying their wired earbuds for years. After these Hesh evos I think I'm gonna buy from another company they don't seem to make a good product anymore.
Thank you, Jensel A. for helping me with the purchase! The headphones sound amazing! I love that they're USB-C. I've been using them wired and on Bluetooth to my phone and PC for two weeks now with one initial charge, and it still hasn't died yet. These are a great upgrade from the hesh 3. And I gave my old headphones to my mom.The only negative thing I have to say is that the sliding adjustment for each side doesn't hold in place that well. They often slide out of place just from picking them up, but never while wearing them.It honestly isn't an issue though because these are the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn! And they sound amazing.I love everything about them, and I'm very happy with the purchase and customer service from Skullcandy.
Well I’m happy to have new headphones. I’ve gone through at least 12 different skullcandy headphones in the last 10 years, Still got an old school NBA blue colored pair with the cord, it’s cause of using them a lot but they are always the 50 dollar Bluetooth ones on sale at Ross for 25. cause I go through them, I’d be bummed to pay more only for them to last a short amount of time. But you really can’t find decent Bluetooth headphones for 25 from any other headphone manufacturer. As far as these go they are nice decent headphones but I really would not pay the 115. Dollar original price. I have a degree in sound engineering and for that much your 80 dollar Sennheiser would be a better sounding headphone with more dynamic range and with a bit more volume. Glad to support POW as I have given in the past and I’ve been shredding for over 30 years..we got 6 inches last night in CO. I don’t know cause everything costs more nowadays but they could definitely be improved for that price.. I just remembered my 2006-07 Burton Helmet has the skull candy phones with the bass control.Oh yeah man have you guys ever thought about making Bluetooth headphones for Smith snowboard/ski helmets? Dude you can’t find any other headphones that fit in the back of most helmets except for this weird REI brand that have ZERO bass or treble they are the worst sounding but they are the only ones I could find on the market and they were like 160. bucks!! It’s like Audio 2.0 or something weird. But literally they are the only ones. It’s so dope having Bluetooth to ride but it’d be much better to have good sounding speakers, think I’ve said to much-thank you for the on sale headphones. Very nice having over the ear headphones to cut out the annoying people on plane rides!!! 🤣
These headphones are great. I got these on a warranty credit from my Hesh ANCs that stopped working for whatever reason. These are almost identical to those, except these don't have noise cancelling and they're not grey. Surprisingly though, these still dampen the noise around. It's not quite noise cancelling, but it definitely suppresses external sound.I'm pleasantly surprised at the price for these. I was able to order two of these with my credit, and so far they've been excellent. I use these for my conference calls at work, at the gym, on my laptop, and with my smartphone. I LOVE the 3.5mm combo jack cord. It's detachable and doesn't require battery to use it. This is so handy at work and on my laptop. Im very picky about headphones but these sounded worse then wireless earbuds that i bought for half the price. it was really quiet too, max volume was like a comfortable Listening level. Absolutely no sound isolation, with the headphones playing i could clearly hear a conversation two people were having 15 feet away from me at a loud gym. Finally, they felt like they threw just as much sound outwards as they did towards my ears. i put them on my girlfriend at half the volume and could still clearly make out the music. all in all these things might be ok if your like working out at home alone in a quiet place. otherwise just find something better. i cant even return these things
