I’m used to cheap masks block out the light, but there was just too many light gaps around the nose that just didn’t work for me. This mask specifically targets the eyes and you can customise the fit. I’m still getting the adjustment correct but the “Velcro” is really nice and subtle and doesn’t get stuck in your hair and allows for multiple adjustments without furring up. Manta slim stays on snugly but is so light I don’t even feel like it’s there, and the elastic strap makes it easy to take on and off (or pop up onto my forehead if I just need to get up for the bathroom) so I re-bought the manta slim. Customer service is great and they really do stand by their 60 day risk free trial period (as I learned when I didn’t like the weighted mask). So if you’re on the fence about whether to try it or not, just do it! Your body will thank you. I have quite severe bppv/dizziness and my nystagmus gets easily triggered by pressure towards face/eyes.Also, I have been on the search for a good sleeping mask for years without luck.The manta mask does 90% of what it promises.It works well for side sleeping, no pressure or tugging.I think for total blackout in a daylight environment you would have to place it a bit snuggly and firm - so maybe the large eyecups also would be a better choice? I only use it at night, so it works fine for me.No irritatating light sneaking in, it doesn’ t slide totally off like silk masks do.
