I bought this home from smeg about a year ago and has surpassed my expectations.
I am very happy not only with the appliance but also with the service and installation. I would certainly use Appliances online in the future.
I bought this microwave 4 years ago full.It does not rotate and therefore cooks food unevenly. If you use the microwave a lot you have to heat the oven in convection mode up to 170 degrees once a month otherwise the elements blow up. We were not told this and it is not in the instructions. The first time we went to use the confection oven it short circuited and would not work. They did replace an element free of charge this time. And this is when it was explained to us what we need to do to stop this happening. We have been doing this religiously and have got through another 2 years but again the system has blown up. In addition to this the glass door unexpectedly shattered on an earlier occasion. In my opinion, don't spend this much money on a microwave which might look good but is in fact a lot of work to use. I am just about to get the repair person out to fix the elements that have blown again, and which he told me 2 years ago would probably blow again and I am not happy. I expect this is going to cost me about $700.. I would replace it with a normal microwave oven but of course it is built into my cabinetry and I cannot replace it without there being a gap which can it be filled in even with the extender plate that you can buy from Smeg. Save your money....

Replaced 22 year old Smeg - had to get this one as exact size. So much better than old one, good space inside, easy to use, heats up so much quicker than old oven and retains heat well. The price from TGG was the best as well. It is not a complex oven but works really well and great large size.
Oven works great. A little smaller inside than my previous oven but seals and temperature work great and heats up very quickly
It bakes OK though we cant really bake pizzas etc as from unpacking end of July to now end of October we have been sold a dud oven.Out of the crate a missing led display and faulty oven door that gives numerous loud cracks as heats and for hours after as it cools. Still waiting for repairs.
