Broke after less than a year. ( center element not heating )Got replacement and the second one did the same after warranty period.My local small appliances repair shop told me it is impossible to repair this Smeg toaster.Smeg told me by email that they do nothing after the one year warranty period.It looks nice but doesn't do what it is suppose to...I would rate less than one star if I could !

My 2-slice toaster looks amazing on the bench top, even better when paired with the matching kettle. I was worried it was going to be too big, but it wasn't. I would say it's a medium size. Toasts really well, evenly on both sides. The toast doesn't fly out of the toaster when done. This one is easy to clean and doesn't leave streak marks. The best part about this toaster is that there are minimal crumbs on the bench top now, I don't know if the catchment of the crumbs is better - either way, it ticks all the boxes for our family of 4.

This toaster does a fabulous job toasting my home baked sour dough. Toasting incredibly even, great colour and in fact perfect to our personal taste. Highly recommended. Bit more expensive than most other toasters but you dont need to make sure cupboard closed to hide an ugly toaster because this one sure isnt ugly!
SMEG is a great product, I have also coffee machine in red, milk frother. Love them all. Coffee āļø s fantastic, frother doing magnificent hot chocolate, capuchino and just warm milk with turn of the button.My new addition toaster, canāt praise enough, the best I ever have. Love it toast exactly to my likings. Verse every penny.š I always write honest review, if the product not good, Iāll say it.
I bought the toaster and kettle combo in white. They look gorgeous I love the retro look. Unfortunately when placing muffins or small pieces of bread there is no lift function so you need to put your fingers in the hot toaster to retrieve your toast. It does however toast nice and evenly even if it takes a long time.
Great looking as expected but also toasts both sides as described. It's sturdy and all the levers/knobs turn with a satisfying click, you feel as though there's quality behind the good design. The only thing I initially missed is a manual way to check whether the toast is done (whilst it's cooking) but the toast settings are true and I don't overcook any now! Worth the price particularly if on sale.
This was a replacement for my Smeg toaster on which the spring mechanism broke and apparently could not be repaired. I bought this online, sight unseen, thinking that it was the same as the one I was replacing. Surprised to see that it is much smaller and yet still very bulky. The 2 slice compartments are too small to fit several of the sliced loaves I have tried which is a real nuisance. I am not at all pleased with my purchase. When I went to a store to look at the range I see that they have changed to a much bulkier toaster to fit 4 slices as my old one did. It would take up too much room on my counter top. I am really annoyed that I paid a premium for a Smeg toaster which is not really fit for purpose. I have the pale blue Kettle so wanted to match. I made an investment in both Toaster & Kettle for obvious aesthetic reasons (probably 2-3 years ago) and whilst both are out of warranty, and whilst the kettle's appearance has suffered with brown stains, I understand this is from constant use, however our toaster is rarely used. We are a family of 2 who occassionally have toast on weekends so the toaster is used twice or maximum 4 times weekly. I've attached photographs to show it only toasts on one side. There was quite a lengthy delay in receiving the toaster which was a present for my daughter for Christmas. It arrived end of April due to circumstances beyond Winningās control.During the wait period Winning Appliances kept in touch explaining the situation and the staff were so friendly and empathetic. Truly appreciated. Please thank them all.Now for the product: the look is fabulous and functions beautifully as a toaster. The recipient is very happy and it matches the kettle also purchased from Winning Appliances. Price point was the best in the market.This is a great Company with a huge focus on service. Itās a winner.
