of the size limit, be wary. Pretty warm, which is great for our cloudy midwest days. Earmuffs definitely make it harder to hear people talking to you.

rounded profile too. My head measures 23" and the size L works perfect for me. I also noticed I was able to hear better for some reason with this helmet than others I tried.
Possibly because the dial on the rear provides a snug fit without having to have the chin strap very tight, thus not squeezing the ear flaps too much. It's also pretty light.
Weighing in at 1.17 lbs. on my digital scale. Lastly, (and importantly) my Oakley Flight Deck XM goggles mesh well with this helmet.

from ripping my hair out... but the design is heavier and bulkier than the allure/maze. The boa on the Altus is great for sizing accuracy if that's your goal. My head is 55cm but
I still wear altus in a large to accommodate a beanie. With the boa I can tighten it up all the way and go without the beanie when it's warmer. I loved so many things about the
Altus but ultimately I preferred the allures smaller look and warmer ear covers
