Expensive but you get a quality product! Being Stainless Steel, it takes longer to boil water, but well worth the wait. I see this kettle lasting a life time.

I use this kettle every day to heat water for my coffee. It does take a little longer to boil water than thinner metal pots but the durability, the even-pouring spout and pleasing appearance make it a winner. The handle packs nicely for camping and provides a secure grip for pouring. Also, the handle does not get hot and can be gripped by the bare hand.

The handle packs nicely for camping and provides a secure grip for pouring. Also, the handle does not get hot and can be gripped by the bare hand.
It's amazing how well you can control the flow of water out of this kettle when making pour-over style coffee. I thought the spout looked too big from the photos, but it actually channels perfectly, allowing for a very controlled, slow pour. I'm so happy with the kettle I may have to keep it in the home kitchen and not just for camping!
This kettle was sold out for quite some time, so I had to exercise some extreme patients before I could get my hands on this lovely little unit. 100% worth the wait, well constructed and aestheticly pleasing I couldn't ask for more from a camping kettle.
Nice kettle. Love the fact that there is no plastic or silicone anywhere to be found on it! I did take off one star, however, because the wooden handle/knob on the lid has either come loose or come off entirely on both kettles that I have owned. Seems there could be a better design to make the wooden piece stay on a bit better.
I feel really good about this purchase. I use this kettle primarily as a vessel for my drip coffee. If I need to keep the coffee warm or heat it back up, I just put it over a flame. This Kettle exudes quality, as it should for the price.
Perfect little kettle for our camper. Nice and compact especially with the removable handle.Love the quality of snow peak products and this is no exception.We are very conscious of water and gas consumption when travelling and this boils water quickly without using too much especially for washing up. Comes in a very durable thick cotton pouch. Highly recommend this product for a smaller, weight conscious camp set up.
Fit and function are excellent. High-grade materials and finishing. Doesn't feel flimsy and the handle is safe and sturdy. And, of course boils water for coffee, tea and whatever else you need just fine.
Typical good quality however the wooden top piece ( that screws on) is lopsided. Not typical quality I’m used to with SP. would hope to get a replacement.
