Natural Vitamin D is synthesized by our body from sunlight but since most of us are no longer farmers, we need to get it another way. Vitamin D deficiency is prevalent in modern society and this deficiency has been found in a majority of people with major diseases. Science also says Vitamin D combined with Vitamin K is the best way the body can absorb and utilize it. Even if I am not in the mood to take other supplements, I take this one. You just need one cap per day. I also like that it comes as a VegCap. For those of us who are vegetarians or vegans, it’s disappointing when a great supplement only comes in a non-veg capsule.
