Solgar - Curcumin Full Spectrum - 30 Softgels

I believe it is good curcumin. Solgar took bioavailability and absorption to a new level. It says 185x Great Bioavailability - Solgar transforms poorly absorbed curcumin, from a fat-soluble to a water-soluble phytonutrient...making it immediately body-ready, faster absorbed and more active than ever before. The clearer the liquid...the greater the bioavailability. The great the bioavailability...the greater the absorption. And, the greater the absorption...the greater the power of curcumin. As far as the research suggest, curcumin can help in the management of inflammatory conditions, helps immune, brain and joint health.

I had high hopes for this supplement as it boldly claimed 185x greater bioavailability. I have multiple uterine fibroids (pretty large in size) and the past two cycles have been really bad in terms of menstrual pain/cramps. The pain has left me all day in bed for at least 4 days, not to mention the cramping 7-8 days prior to the start of my period. I searched for a curcumin supplement that was potent and this was one of the ones I saw. For me, the price is a bit steep but the pain is reduced by 50% which is amazing (I take 2 a day starting about 8 days prior to the target day of my cycle until it ends). I don't want to reach out for NSAIDs although that is way cheaper and so having this supplement is God sent. I’ve used Solgar curcumin softgels for years which prompted 185x times better absorption. So disappointed that Solgar made decision to reformulate to Licaps. I tried licaps for 60 days and my joint pain and other inflammatory symptoms returned. I will not use this product anymore. Shame on you, Solgar, for changing the formulation and delivering a subpar product that is much less effective than the original Softgels.
