I don't notice any difference to my health, but as a vegan I take these faithfully for brain health, in addition to 1 tablespoon of flax seeds per day. They are good quality, well packaged, easily swallowed and have no fishy smell or aftertaste.

I bought this for my dog. This is the only vegan DHA on iherbs at the moment that does not contain lemon or orange oil. Citrus oil in general may be harmful to dogs. So 5 stars goes to not having dog unfriendly ingredients. One capsule squeezed into her mouth daily before a meal keeps her coat shine and possibly prevents development of arthritis later on. I add small doses of vegan D3 with 100 -200 mcg vitamin K2 to her meals. It's vitally important to use vitamin K2 with vitamin D3 in order to get the desired benefits and avoid unwanted calcification of soft tissues.
We don't know why but this product leaves us with a little fishy indigestion some nights about two hours after taking it. It is just a little bit and infrequent. It is nothing like some other brands that you clear a room with after taking, because the indigestion is so overwhelming with the fish smell. We would recommend just be aware that it is not 100% fishy indigestion free.
I love Solgar and am buying their products alsmost exclusively, but this product had a rancid smell. The smell of this product from the previous purchasewas normal and pleasant! Disappointed :/
Once again Solgar do not mention the sources of the ingredians. Description says DHA from a plant based algue but the type of algue is not mentioned. Maybe the product is good but customers deserve to know what it has been made of in cases of allergies and other medical conditions.
Being vegan this is a needed supplement to maintain good health. Highly recommend this product. Solgar is a trusted company and uses glass jars.
We loved the fact that it does not have this horrible fishy smell as with fish oil that people take as omega 3 supplement. This one does not smell or taste bad.suitable for vegans and vegetarians. we will order more once we finish this pack.
