This really transforms your home in a way you didn't expect. Having been a previous Owner of Sonos ones for surrounds you thought you had everything you needed to "fill". Enter these speakers. With the atmos capability the refined sound profile and the slightly bigger. It not intrusive presence delivering clearer and more detailed sound it's a great listen. Watching Drive to Survive blew my mind. The film Dune took it to a new level for a full test with the Sun and Arc. Music listening is also fantastic. They stand alone really well in a room as a single or stereo pair and the option to finally pair via Bluetooth is a nifty and handy option. Now let's take the better and intuitive touch controls which initially I wasn't a big fan of as I was so used to the classic ... MoreThis really transforms your home in a way you didn't expect. You don't have to guess in a dark room where your controls are anymore and hit the wrong control. Highly recommend.

This speaker is one of the best speakers I've ever owned. It's so easy to setup. The sound quality is amazing. Having just one speaker sounds like you have a surround sound in your house. The newly designed volume controls are easy to use and very responsive. The Bluetooth addition is very convenient because it makes it portable. The line in feature is also great. It's an option I never had before with other products. This lets me connect it to my record player. I paired it with my mini sonos sub and the combo with the already great bass that it has was incredible. I would definitely recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a good sound system.

Admittedly, I was used to Sonos's earlier design vernacular so this evolution in their product design caught me off-guard. I suspect this point and even the naming convention will be contentious for some Sonos fans (though I quite like it). More importantly, the Era 300 sounds phenomenal: the expanded width of the soundstage is immediately apparently (especially after a Trueplay tuning) and there's a noticeable precision in different parts of played music. There's a vocal clarity as well that's harder to articulate and pin down (as earlier Sonos products had this nailed down as well) and the music reproduction sounds natural, balanced, and not overly processed. Bass sounds and feels great though I admittedly do not listen to bass-heavy tunes. A pair of these ... Honestly, the Era 300 makes my Five feel obsolete and the Five has been my favorite Sonos product ever.

Sonos have done it again and produced a top quality speaker system for both the novice and experience music addict. From opening the box I was very impressed, the speaker looks very modern and fits perfectly in any kind of room. The sound quality is very very good and having the function to optimise the sound for the room you are in is a very good option and really makes a big difference. Overall the system is very simple to set up and connect to the home WIFI, streaming music from the Sonos app is also very simple and controlling the speakers again is very simple. I love the option to be able to turn separate speakers on so you can move from room to room (depending how many speaker you have) and switch the music from one speaker to the next without having to ... I love the option to be able to turn separate speakers on so you can move from room to room (depending how many speaker you have) and switch the music from one speaker to the next without having to restart the tracks. I think the only downside is the lack of EQ presets like other systems have, you can only change Bass and treble, I personally prefer presets where you can tailor it to fit in with the genre of music you are listening to eg Rock, Pop etc. Overall I am very impressed with the Optimo Speaker and very tempted to add other products from the Sonos range to build up a larger sound system especially for watching movies and playing video games as I think the sound that Sonos produce from the speakers will really enhance the gaming experience for sure.
Full disclosure is that I am a beta tester for these Speakers. That being said, I will buy them, in a second, once they go on sale for real. The speakers turned my great stereo surround system (Sonos Arc, Sub, Surrounds) into an AMAZING system. I hear things that were not present before, and the spatial separation is incredible. They just work. Easy to set up. Pairs quickly and connects seamlessly to my iPhone. Now my surround system plays music that sounds so real and lifelike, I look for the band members spread out across my living room floor. Great job Sonos!
This speaker is located front and centre in my living room perfect to hear the crystal clear Dolby Atmos sounds from my Amazon playlists. Perfect sounds and clarity that this speaker produces has beaten all other speakers I've used before. The 360° sound echos around my living room perfectly and sounds amazing. The Bluetooth connection is perfect for family members to conand play their playlist. I can see this being a great device for family bbqs to take outdoors and let people connect and plat their own playlists. I don't have any other Sonos speakers so can't say how it sounds when paired but with how one sounds I imagine it will be amazing. Setup has been easy enough and the Trueplay makes it great for setting up the speaker in the room. Only came across one ... Setup has been easy enough and the Trueplay makes it great for setting up the speaker in the room. Only came across one thing that isn't great and that is the Alexa voice control. The speech from Alexa tends to be very low compared to the built-in Sonos voice control. I can honestly say that this device has surprised me on how well it plays music. I've never heard a speaker before that played music so clear that I could actually hear levels in bass that ive never heard before.
It doesn't have a typical Sonos shape or style since it's optimized for upward-facing Atmos sound, but the design really grew on me. It's a bit larger than I would've expected, and placement of it is pretty important-due to the nature of the speakers, you want to have space above and next to the speaker to get the best sound. It has the same great Sonos sound that you'd expect. Although my friends' Homepod has 'boomier' bass, this one has tighter and accurate bass. I actually keep the volume pretty low, at max 30-40, since it's used in a small apartment. The only drawback is currently Atmos/Spatial Audio/360 Audio music (whatever it's branded...) can only be played through a paid Amazon Music Unlimited subscription. Even though I pay for Apple Music it doesn't work ... MoreIt doesn't have a typical Sonos shape or style since it's optimized for upward-facing Atmos sound, but the design really grew on me. This is a much needed addition to the Sonos ecosystem. The line-in is nice, and inline with the feature set of a few of the bigger Sonos speakers (which makes it a good candidate for turntables in a relatively small package). The bluetooth support is much rarer, and I believe only the Move has that feature. This is a much better sounding speaker than the Move, and the one I'd pick unless I absolutely need the Move's portability. The up-and-forward firing speaker make this great for rear speakers in an Atmos setup. The only real negative is the aesthetic, which is probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I can understand why this shape was necessary.
First, I really love the shape of the speaker. It feels unique compared to what's on the market but blends in with decor. I have a large room and it does a great job of filling it and then some! The bass is overpowering at times so I needed to play with some of those settings. I can see it being usable in an apartment setting but definitely use it responsibly haha! I also loved having the option of Bluetooth for quick connect or to be able to still use it if I'm having WiFi issues. The one negative, where is the Sonos assistant was really terrible. I'm surprised this thing has six microphones because I felt like the assistant couldn't hear me and while I like the idea that it does everything on board it's not very good at processing commands. Also, personally, I ... MoreFirst, I really love the shape of the speaker. It feels unique compared to what's on the market but blends in with decor. Firstly, I really like the sleek look of the speaker itself; the curves without any buttons sticking out really allows it to be placed in any room without sacrificing the look of your aesthetic. The speaker was incredibly easy and simple to set up, alongside setting up the app, and it really took no time at all. I love that the user can choose whether to connect using Bluetooth, the Sonos app, or through a cable if they wish - however, all of these options achieve the same sound quality. The touch controls on the system are great - not too sensitive and very easy to use. The Trueplay is fantastic and allows you to configure your speaker with the shape and size of your chosen room. I really have never experienced a cleaner sound from a speaker before - there are never any issues with quality and all styles of music achieve the same effect. Very happy with this.
