The Sonos Move 2 is a worthy speaker despite what it is (one woofer and two tweeters in a single enclosure with claims of a single speaker providing a "stereo" experience). Once I got past that stretch on what constitutes stereo, I was actually impressed with the SQ if not the absent stereo separation. I have multiple Roams and love them for what they are, despite the glaring absence of being able to stream stereo to two Roams via Bluetooth. The Move 2 has the same glaring absence (no Bluetooth stereo which is inexplicable), but the Move 2 has excellent SQ, noticeably better than the Roams.Is the increased size and cost worth the increased SQ? I love the Move 2! This speaker sounds great and is super convenient for outdoor use. I only use this speaker when relaxing on the patio or working out in the yard as I already have 2 Sonos systems inside the house. This speaker has a nice, full sound and is loud enough to carry sound through the whole yard with no problem. I got the olive colored speaker so it blends in with the landscaping. Also installed a wall hook on the patio wall to hang the speaker. The battery lasts forever. After using for 4 hours it barely uses any batteries. The app is great and carries the other music services I use, Sirius, Pandora, etc. Alco work well with the other Sonos surround sound systems I have inside on the TV's. I would definitely recommend this portable speaker!

I have recently gone completely deaf in one ear and have a hearing aid in the other. I grew up in a band and to this day still go to concerts. I've always had a top of the line stereo system. Since going deaf, I've been very disappointed with the sound quality of hearing basically in mono through only one ear. Concerts are not as enjoyable. I bought it to be able to take it outside to my deck but have found myself carrying it around with me to different rooms is the house as well so I can listen wherever I go. I love the "Hey Sonos" feature and I use it exclusively to adjust the speaker. As i intend to use this around the house and in the garden - i consider that it is portable and the weight does give it that premium quality build feel. I do not regret getting this speaker and as there is the possibility to add another Move 2 to create a stereo pair in the future - if the need / desire arises. However that may be more of a luxury. SONOS APP is very reliable and great for apple music and grouping your Sonos devices with individual flexibility. I always buy good equipment. Am very pleased.

I bought the pair and using the Sonos App, you can pair the both of them together to get stereo. But if I only want to use one, then I pair it with the bluetooth with my phone to listen to favorite jams when I'm relaxing in the backyard after a long day of work.Well, I thought I would leave the best for last and say by far...THE SOUND COMING OUT OF THESE IS AMAZING!!!Is the price worthy of the features and sound quality? For my discernable ears, I would say YES!This is a High Quality product and it will probably be one of the last of this type of speaker that I will need to buy.

The app update has made sonos a joke. I was very happy and everything worked flawlessly until the update. I have a home theatre set up (bar, 2 rear channels and sub) and speakers in several other rooms. All of the sonos products are hard wired into my home network. Since the update I have a move2 I can't use at all. I factory reset it and reinstalled numerous times and now discovered it is adding as a second "system". If I reset the app and log in as if its the first time I can access the move 2 (as its own system) and use it, or log in to the system which has the rest of my products. I can;t have both which is what i wanted all along. My sub also will not link to any room in my system so it is essentially a heavy and overpriced dust collector now! I have been ...
