Picture quality is supreme with colours being one of the most accurate that I have seen. My previous TV was an 2020 Sony LED TV and having that side by side with this and play the same content (Black Panther Wakanda Forever streamed from Disney Plus on the first day and later also noticed a massive difference in Ted Lasso also streamed from Apple TV+) was a good way to demonstrate the differences in the picture quality. A nice feature also implemented on the TV was the "screensaver" option which would automatically come on to prevent burn in, though the TV did have a static clock and weather icon overlaying it so not sure how that would combat the burn in.The set up out of the box was fairly simple as it is all done via the Google Home app and it immediately knew ... MorePicture quality is supreme with colours being one of the most accurate that I have seen. I also watched a 4k bluray of Matrix Ressurrections which looked crisp with a colours once again being very radiant. The speakers built in to the TV and the sound coming from the screen was great. The TV doesn't connect well with my existing Yamaha YAS107 soundbar so I am having to manually turn the soundbar on every time I use the TV. Hopefully something Sony can fix in a future firmware/software update.Around a week later the TV also developed this issue where it wouldn't always launch and instead freeze and restart itself. Hopefully also a temporary issue that will be fixed soon. Both the negatives haven't really impacted my experience with the TV as the pros of the improvement to the image quality outweigh them massively.

The picture and sound on the tv are both excellent. I got a free sound bar with the tv, which makes it sound even better. There are lots things that the tv does, that I haven't explored yet, but I'll have fun finding them out.The tv is quite expensive, but you do get a lot for your money.

**Setup**Very easy to setup and it found our SkyQ and Bose Surround boxes first time. I hung the TV on the wall which comes with the necessary spacers to fit the bracket. It’s a heavy unit so you’ll need a strong wall to hang it off.**Picture**Excellent picture quality. 4K/UHD is much better on than the cheaper 55” Samsung it replaced. The balance between dark and light contrasts is as good as I’ve seen on a TV. Watching football there is no suttering or ghosting which is nice.**Sound**The TV is connected to a Bose LifeStyle surround system which is connected via eARC which works well. When not using the surround system the TVs speakers are decent offering some base and 3D effects.**Integration/remotes**Worked fine with SkyQ in 4K, Bose system and ... More**Setup**Very easy to setup and it found our SkyQ and Bose Surround boxes first time. The user interface is great and offers loads of flexibility with google TV. The built in apps (Netflix, Disney, YouTube) are nicely responsive and easy to use. The TV comes with a traditional remote and a slimline light up one. The latter can be used to control the SkyQ box and lights up when picked up so helpful in the dark.
Pros: It’s like the Tardis - there is always more space for something elseCons: Nothing
Pros: Very quiet compared to previous beko washer large opening to put clothes inCons: Could do with extra rinse button

After receiving my Sony 55" BRAVIA XR A84L OLED TV, the initial setup from the box was pretty straight forward and was easy to follow. The whole setup to get the TV switched on was no longer than 10 minutes. I immediately signed into all my streaming services from Amazon Prime to Apple TV. This TV has allowed me to remove the need for a streaming box to run my services, I used to use a Apple TV 4k that has now been put back in it's box. I went full vanilla and removed my soundbar too, so I could get the full experience of the forward facing speakers behind the OLED screen. The positives:So there are a multitude great things to talk about with this TV, beginning with the best part the picture quality is utterly stunning I upgraded from an LG OLED to the Bravia and ... MoreAfter receiving my Sony 55" BRAVIA XR A84L OLED TV, the initial setup from the box was pretty straight forward and was easy to follow. I went full vanilla and removed my soundbar too, so I could get the full experience of the forward facing speakers behind the OLED screen. The positives:So there are a multitude great things to talk about with this TV, beginning with the best part the picture quality is utterly stunning I upgraded from an LG OLED to the Bravia and the difference is night and day. Whether watching a Imax enhanced 4k movie on Disney+ or Bravia Core to a SD video on YouTube the TV seems to make everything crisp and vivid. Especially the Ultra HD content is some of the best quality I have seen outside of the Cinema. The picture quality continues its impressive display when you hook up a PS5 to it, using the included 120hz HDMI port I found my PS5's visuals in games like God of War Ragnarok and Star Wars Jedi Survivor went from great to amazing. That coupled with the VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and game mode made the games play flawlessly. When they added the tag Perfect for PlayStation they weren't kidding! The sound is both a love and hate relationship for me during my first week with the TV, you can really hear the different with the Dolby Atmos and the built speakers do pack a surprising punch for the audio but they do also carry me on to the only negative I have about the TV. The ease of use of the home menu or the included Bravia Core with 24 months of free streaming and 15 tokens to use on some new titles is a real plus, it has ended up being a stream service I didn't know I needed and have watch a surprising amount of things on it. By choice I don't use a cable TV or Sky box and so I do all my TV viewing through on demand and streaming from all the major streaming companies, this TV has them all so I have been able to continue and enjoy my programs in best quality I have seen them so far.The Negative:It is such a minor thing but once I noticed it, it was hard not to un-notice it. The sound has some great punch and depth to it but it does miss on the bass and sometimes movies can sound a little tinny. I found playing with the equaliser did remedy most of the tinny noise but a soundbar with a subwoofer would probably remedy this small issue.Just as an additional I really do love the included smart remote which allowed me to control everything with just the push of 1 of the 6 included quick start buttons allowing me to get to YouTube or Disney+ with ease, also it lights up in the dark so I don't need to turn my light on at night! My overall impression of the Sony 55" BRAVIA XR A84L OLED TV has been fantastic and I look forward to how they advance their TV range going forward.
Everything about this tv is amazing, if your looking to buy it but on the fence you will not be disappointed. Picture, sound, ease of us is all perfect. Ps5 looks amazing in it aswell and the smart remove is very handy for people that just stream to watch stuff like myself
Swapped my recently purchased Phillips TV for a Sony Bravia after having issues with the sound on the Phillips. Great service from the Sony sales person who couldn’t have been any more helpful. Great product with no issues.
