Budget earbuds

The Sony earbuds, priced at $8, offer commendable value for budget-conscious consumers. While they may not deliver premium features, their performance is satisfactory for the price point. The sound quality is decent, and they provide a comfortable fit. Understandably, certain advanced functionalities might be lacking, but for the cost, they fulfill basic audio needs admirably. In essence, these Sony earbuds are a wallet-friendly choice that doesn't compromise too much on quality.

for less than $10 in a time where everything is getting expensive these are fantastic. Tiny buds, great fit and simple design. perfect cable length and can handle more bass and volume than you would expect, but it does take a pretty powerful outputband tuned eq to hear the full potential. they sound crazy good for the price and they look nice. if you are familiar with wired akg ear buds from Samsung's, these sound very similar, but produce better bass. highly reccomended and I might even buy a white pair just to have around.

I ordered these and when they arrived, I realized they were auxiliary jacksz I asked my son if he had anything that he could use them on and he was excited and said yes and then next thing I know he went and got an iPhone plug adapter to attach to it, which I did not even realize we had. Ordered some more for me and two other members of the family, forgetting again about the jacks, because it had been some time and also there’s no picture of it, and I didn’t go far enough down in the description to see that they were auxiliary. Thankfully, I had another adapter, but two of our family members can’t use them because we don’t have any more adapters. We haven’t had them long enough to know about how long they would last, but for the price they’re great…. if you have an adapter. I’ve attached a photo of a similar concept that would help those of us who rely on pictures for our information.

I have boughten more than 10 pairs of Sony earbuds and you really do get what you paid for. Cheap price = cheap headphones. These last a maximum of 6 months if you lucky. These are cheap and I can get them in a decent amount of time. I commute with public transport ands its really humiliating to realize others can hear what your listening to. The sound is always leaking out even when on low volume its been like that for all the other pairs Ive bought. Not so much I can do with what I can afford. If theyd fix the sound from leaking out they would have been an amazing purchase, despite the fact they only last a few month maximum. When this pair eventually breaks, Ill be switching to a new brand. Any wired earbud recommendations? Reasonably priced corded headphones

A review of the Sony MDR-EX14AP corded headphones that comes w/ three different sizes of hybrid silicone rubber earbuds, an in-line mic with a multi-function button on its backside (to click to answer or hang up calls, and do other functions while listening to music on an iPad or older iPhone) located a few inches down from the left earbud, an L-shaped 3.5 mm plug that plugs into the headphone jacks on these 3 devices: my laptop, iPad (6th generation), and iPhone 6s.Smallest earbuds worked best for me because I have small ear canal openings…they block out other sounds quite well, and stay snuggly in my ear canal opening without feeling irritating. I haven’t tested the mic by making a phone call yet, but other reviewers say it works well. I did test the earphone volume, and it gets plenty loud when I up the volume on my iPad or iPhone! To test the sound quality, I listened to these songs: A Mad Russian’s Christmas by Trans Siberian Orchestra, to test the bass and treble quality and sound of a multi-instrument song; Guns and Ships from Hamilton An American Musical, to test clarity of rapid fire vocalization and multi-part vocal harmonization; and Money by Pink Floyd to test the left—right ā€œspeakerā€ balance. These tested quite well for an inexpensive set of stereo headphones, not too far off from a much higher quality and much more expensive set of corded headphones I own. These were reasonably priced and will work nicely when I don’t have my wireless headphones charged or simply wish to watch videos or listen to music in bed where I’d be concerned about accidentally falling asleep and losing my AirPods in a mess of pillows and blankets. This review was done three days after purchase, so I don’t know how well these headphones will hold up, but fingers crossed that I’ll get a good year’s use out of them!

Sounds good for low price.

I really like the sound of these headphones. Normally I like to go with my wireless sets, but when I am out and about all day, they don't last. There is ample cord lenght so you don't have to be holding your phone in your hand. You can stick it in a pocket or purse or bag. There is a right and left side, which you don't usually get from an inexpensive pair of headphones. Although I did not know this until after taking them off. Even in the wrong ear the sound is good.I like my base and these delivery. I also like the fact that I didn't have to turn the sound up really high to hear clearly. If you need a quick, inexpensive pair of headphones, these are a good buy.

[Rewarded Review] Affordable and Excellent Quality Headphones
5 September 2024

My husband wore out two sets of expensive wired headphones in the last couple of years. They were also discontinued, so when I was shopping for the alternatives, I came across these Sony headphones. The price was very affordable including free shipping and it was delivered in two days.My husband has been using these headphones for over a month now when he plays his games and listens to his favorite podcasts. He absolutely loves them - highly recommended!

This was the only pair of wired, 3.5mm headphones that my local Best Buy had in stock today that I saw. A sign of the times.Audio quality is acceptable. Nothing special. Good enough for my purpose - to listen to music and podcasts while working. I don't need the last word in sound quality for background noise. I haven't tested the microphone but probably good enough for a Zoom call. The included eartips do a good job of blocking out enough background noise while still being able to hear things going on.I still have a nice set of noise cancelling headphones I use when flying, but for everyday use at home and work I'm going back to wired. I got tired of charging wireless headphones.

If you’re simply looking for a working pair of plug-ā€˜n’-play earbuds with an included microphone that will work with your controller, then just go ahead and grab a pair of theseļæ¼. I am very accustomed to wearing Skullcandy earbuds, and those have a smaller silicone tip for the ear buds that does fit within my ear. I plan to wedge the Skullcandy Tips onto the Sony earbuds and see if that works out for me (Your results ļæ¼may vary lol). A $10 pair of Skullcandy earbuds tends to crap out after a few short months, so I am interested to see how long these Sony earbuds last. I purchased these on discount for $7.50 immediately after New Year’s Day, ļæ¼so I’m hoping they will last for at least six months because Sony has a good reputation for making high-quality products. It is currently 3 weeks later in 2024, and they are still running strong… For now.

I knew the lifespan of earbuds has been shortening. Gone are the days when you could spend this much on a pair of JBLs that last years. One pair began to fail out within the first day, other in a bit over half a week. I usually use one earbud so when one side fails quickly like in most earbuds I can still use it, but with these one will syart getting quieter until near silence, but the other will work. for a few minutes, until the process starts over in reverse. No in-store refunds due to hygiene but your mileage may vary as from my experience over half the time they'll make up something to deny returning any item. Are you really willing to go through the manufacturer warranty for such a cheap item, if they even have one, especially if your backup pair will start failing before the first reaches Sony? usually Sony buds survive 6 months of active use, but I believe it is true that most companies heavily compromise the integrity of the versions they make to sell in Wal-Mart at their "low prices" only to end up with a crappy version that Wal-Mart marks up to just being slightly cheaper than equivalent products by the same company at respectable stores. they're selling you e-waste masquerading as a product from a reliable brand. IMO that qualifies as theft and fraud, but the customer that gets victimized by such practices has no recourse but if someone tries to shoplift a pair you can bet they'll be put in cuffs and charged for stealing a tiny thing from a huge, rich, exploitative corporation and have to go to court to be pubished and left with a criminal record that will severely impact their life, but when Wal-Mart swindles tons of individual customers every day out of anounts of money that may not be insignificant to them they get a pass. No penalty, and if you complain you are dismissed or gaslit into thinking it is somehow your fault. I've gotten better stuff for $2 shipped off of Aliexpress. Wal-Mart has those same items for $20 . Thieves.
